A great spot for break

We stayed for several days and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and the peace and quiet. The cottage was delightful to live in, it was clean, warm very spacious for our small party of three. The sauna, and the ability to access a washing machine and drier, were really appreciated. We found the location ideal as it was central to the places we wanted to visit during our stay. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little cottage

The owners of the cottage were very friendly people and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The setting is wonderful there and the interior of the cottage is beautiful and very functional. This is a good out of the way area, with a nice restaurant nearby with traditional Irish food. I recommend renting a car and driving to the Connemara Mountains, Galway, Bunratty Castle, The Ring of Kerry and definitely the Cliffs of Moher, as this is a good central location to go to these places.

Great Family Experience

This traditional stone cottage is exactly as it looks in the photo here. The horses in the field a few yards from the cottage add to the rural and authentic feel of the place. The house has a lovely open plan with high two story ceilings. There are two shower rooms with toilets – one in house and one with a sauna in an outer building a few steps from the cottage. This is a perfect setting for families. Our boys loved playing on site and there is a wonderful hiking path that goes up the hill just across the road. Location is ideal for Galway and Doolin is about an hour away. You need a car. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. On our arrival, there was freshly baked home-made bread waiting for us as well as fresh cut flowers on the table and sausages, bacon, milk and other essentials in the fridge. Some of the specs here are not exactly right. There is no telephone, dishwasher, housekeeper, or stereo. There is one queen and four single beds so it actuall

the cottage is lovely it has everything you could want and is very comfortable to stay in there is a very scenic uphill walk directly opposite and the sauna for when you return muddy and tired john and olive are very welcoming and helpful excellent for dogs convenient for sightseeing in clare and galway you need a car to get about try to sort out the climate it rains too much price is wrong it costs 800 euro in july and august
