Description of the Garden City vacation home rental

Serenity Haven is your newly and very tastefully decorated three bedroom, two bath relaxing vacation hideaway. The large living room with plush emerald green carpeting is decorated with elegant yet fun "beachy" accents. Your kitchen is fully equipped for the chef, including a microwave, coffee maker, a drop down breakfast bar with stools, and a large white tile table that is surrounded by four chairs with a new ceiling fan overhead. The kitchen has a new oak laminate floor, and there is also a new floor in the laundry room. Serenity Haven's bright & large kitchen also features a Krups Espresso maker, a food processor, waffle/sandwich makers, electric slicer, George Foreman grill, lobster pot, Mrs. Tea, juicer, even mugs that can be frozen, and an under the counter radio/CD player. This is one great kitchen that is fully equipped in every way! We are a pet friendly property.

This special vacation property has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped down to the smallest of details. Guests will enjoy having a cable television in every bedroom, a VCR in the twin bedroom, a DVD player, and stereo. The wall unit is filled with videos, books, and games so you will really have a home away from home.

Our pampered guests will appreciate the three very spacious bedrooms with lovely quality linens, soft blankets, and pretty comforters. The first bedroom features a super comfortable king bed with a cozy quilted comforter, a second bedroom is furnished with an equally comfortable queen bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with two super comfortable twin beds. There is also a wicker day bed (my favorite) that is loaded with pillows along with a pullout trundle that opens into a king bed.

The living room features a couch with dual recliners, a queen anne chair and a Papasan Chair.

Serenity Haven has two bathrooms, one with a tub, and the second with a seated shower. There is also a spacious laundry room for your convenience, including iron and ironing board. Serenity Haven is a perfect year round getaway for families of up to eight, or for couples wanting to relax and enjoy the mild climate in a spacious home away from home.

Vacation Rental Amenities

There is a screened porch with glass table and chairs and an old fashioned rocker. Outside enjoy the teak table and chair set, a gas barbeque grill, and a concrete driveway. Other great amenities include bogie boards, umbrellas, bikes, an adult tricycle, a pack 'n play, high chair, basketballs,tennis rackets, and everything you need to experience the fun of crabbing.

Activities and Attractions

A classic, beautifully decorated duplex is waiting for our guests. Enjoy a great Garden City Beach location that is 500 yards away from the pier at a wonderful children's park for crabbing and fishing, and 9/10th's of a mile from a great public family beach and the pier on the ocean. It is really a nice walk to the beach 1/2 mile and you can walk to town, park, golf, churches, Sara J's Restaurant, and the piers. The pier even has live music and two pubs, plus lots of wonderful old fashioned games like skee ball. Our guests will be just a few minutes from everything that Myrtle Beach offers, and will be very close to excellent golf courses, world famous dining,Legends in Concert Theatre, and many other attractions including boating, jet ski rentals, water parks, miniature golf, shopping, arcades, parasailing,rides for children, fishing from the pier, and charter fishing.

Our guests will be just a few minutes from everything that Myrtle Beach offers, and will be very close to excellent golf courses,world famous dining, Legends in Concert theatre, and many other attractions including boating, jet ski rentals, water parks, miniature golf, shopping, parasailing, old fashioned arcades with fun games like skee ball, rides for children, fishing and crabbing from the pier, and charter fishing. Guests will enjoy being so close to everything from Sara J's, a very popular restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining where you can enjoy watching the fishing and crabbing on the marsh, to churches, and a great park that is just down the street. Relax, enjoy the peace and tranquility, and have a wonderful time just outside of Myrtle Beach!

The large living room 20X40 with low pile carpeting is decorated with elegant yet fun "beachy" accents. Enjoy the super comfy sofa, rocker recliner, rocker chair and large TV/DVD player. There is also a Papasan Chair to curl up and watch TV in. The kitchen is fully equipped for the chef, including a microwave, coffee maker, waffle maker, Mrs. Tea ice tea maker, a breakfast bar with high chairs, and a large table that is surrounded by four chairs with a new ceiling fan overhead. The kitchen has a ceramic tile, and there is also a tile floor in the laundry room. Serenity Cove's bright & large kitchen is fully equipped in every way! The front "Wicker Room" is totally surround by windows for a bright and sunny atmosphere and has a cozy day bed to curl up and read your favorite book. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom (unbelievably comfortable) with a private bath. This bedroom also has a TV and glider rocker. The queen bedroom has a TV and shares a bathroom with the bunk bed bedroom, which also has a TV/VCR. There is also a washer, dryer and iron and ironing board for your use. Serenity is truly a "home away from home" It is well appointed and has everying you need, whether you're staying for a week or a season. The kitchen is well equipped and the laundry facilities are great. I particularly appreciate the WIFI internet. We feel very comfortable here. Its so obvious that the owners, Lou and Karen, really care. The location is perfect! Its a short walk to the beach, close to shopping, golf and attractions but has the peace and quiet of a residential neighbourhood. The bikes are a bonus too. Even our cat feels at home here, and she's very choosy. All the condo/apartment-type places in Myrtle beach are small, crowded and impersonal, but Serenity is a real home. We relax as soon as we walk in the door. As far as I'm concerned, its the best vacation value in the Southeast. We've already booked for next year.

Serene was wonderful and so spacious. We had a wedding over the weekend as our daughter was getting married. We had friends and family dropping in and they all just loved the place! We had fun meals together ironed our dresses, etc and sewed a few little things for our flower girl. The home was so visitor friendly that we found all we needed. Game night was enjoyed by all a quiet rest on the porch ended our night. Thank you for the kind welcome we felt. We will share this experience with all.
