Description of the Gatlinburg vacation cabin rental

This luxury, 1775 sqft two bedroom, 2.5 bath mountain cabin in the Village of Cobbly Nob is ideal for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family retreat. "Southern Serenity" sits high above the Gary Player designed- Bent Creek Golf Course and provides outstanding mountain views. Located in a private guarded community, conveniently located near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and only minutes from one of the entrances of the Smokey Mountain National Park.

Our family owned cabin offers you a mountain experience you will not forget. It is loaded with all the amenities you can imagine including wireless internet, hot tub, pool table, large deck, and carport. As you enter the cabin, you walk into the large open living area which includes a beautifully decorated living room, dinning room and kitchen. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, comfortable sleeper sofa, TV/DVD/VCR, and seating. From this area you can enjoy the beauty of the Smokey Mountains through the oversized windows either side of the fireplace. The dinning area has seating for four with seating for three more at the bar. The fully furnished kitchen contains all you will need to prepare meals. You will only need to bring your food. Also located on the main level is the spacious master bedroom with a king size bed, antique sofa, TV and adjoining full bath. There is also a half bath with washer and dryer convinently located near the living area.

Upstairs there is a loft with pool table and game area that overlooks the living area and the mountain views can be enjoyed from here. The spacious wonderfuly decorated second bedroom with a beauitiful queen size bed and TV along with a adjoining full bath is upstairs also.

The roads and driveway are paved, with plenty of parking. Cobbly Nob roads are kept clear during inclement weather by the homeowners association. The road to the cabin is easly accesed in two wheel drive vehicles. Being in the Village of Cobbly Nob provides you with privacy and 24-hour security. You also have access to the community's tennis courts and three swimming pools.

Area Description

Cobbly Nob is located only 5 miles from one of the entrances of the Smokey Mountain National Park offering public access for hiking, fishing, sightseeing, wildlife viewing and much more. Cades Cove is only a short drive with all of its beauty and history. If it is other entertainment you are looking for, Gatlinburg is an 11 mile drive and Pigeon Forge is an 16 mile drive. With all they have to offer, these two wonderful towns promise a great vacation experience for everyone.

Check In: 3 p.m.
Check Out: 10 a.m.
Required Stay: 3 Nights minimum to avoid a $50 cleaning fee
Lodging Tax: 10.0%
Deposits: A $200 security/damage deposit is required to hold your reservation and will be refunded within 10 days after your stay if there is no damage to the cabin.
Other Fees: Set nightly price is for two adults. There is a $10 fee for each additional person in your party 18 years old or older.

WE LOVED THIS HOUSE!!, August 13, 2009

My husband, myself, and our kids (age 9 and 11) returned last weekend from 9 nights at this house... and it was PAINFUL to leave! The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The owners should be proud! The view of Greenbrier Pinnacle & Mt LeConte is AWESOME. We enjoyed a dip (sometimes two) each night in the hot tub on the deck-- especially after long hikes during the day! The neighborhood is quiet and it was comforting to know there is a Security office at the entrance to the golf resort below. It was our pleasure to talk with Lisa (owner) while planning our trip... she is very nice! We enjoyed home-cooked/grilled dinners at the house several nights. We recommend Carvers Applehouse in Cosby-- a GREAT restaurent and orchard! Cobbly Knob Market just down 321 from the resort entrance is a great source of info, basic necessities, and serves a great breakfast! We also highly recommend the Arts/Crafts Community for shopping & dining outside the overcrowded Gatlinburg!

Me and my husband just got back from staying at this cabin for 3 nights. The interior was extremely warm and cozy, a home away from home. The view was spectacular, especially at night. This cabin has everything you would want, rather you go with your family or your signficant other. It has a hot tub on the back deck, a bar-b-que pit, pool table, cards, checkers, chess, flat screen tv with cable. I truly enjoyed this cabin and highly recommend it to everyone.

I was truly taken aback by this property from the moment I arrived! Rarely do you find a vacation destination to be even better than described. This cabin is super-clean, in a great location, has spectacular views, and is decorated beautifully to capture the essence of the area. There are great restaurant choices, several world-class hiking trails, and countless other activities within minutes though none take away from its peaceful atmosphere. There is, indeed, something serene about this place....
