A mama bear + 3 cubs got in our garbage the first night!! Very exciting....

wow! A whole year passed & here we are again celebrating our 1st anniversay in the beautiful special place. We have gotten engaged here, got married here & spent our 1st anniversary here!! I loved the chalet. We stakyed here on our honeymoon & had a lovely time. We got marriet at Chalet Mountain Wedding Chapel on Saturday & dinned with our inmmediate family afterwards at O'Charleys in the Smokies. Sunday we went shopping again and ate at the Log Cabin Panchage house and went to the Aquarium.Hope you all have as nice of a time as we did !! thanks again, The Burgess family- Acworth GA.

Well, we are back just as we said we sould be in our April entry when we got engaged here ( out on the deck). We spendt the las 6 months preparing and anxiously awaiating coming back to tis beautiful chalet & gorgeous land. We had about 23 friend and family come and stay at different chalets on the mountain and ours was by far the warmest & most HOMEY chalet of them all. THe moment we drove down your driveway we felt right at home. Ass of your special touches makes it so cozy. Our son lived daily for the hot tub . We had a great time-hiking, we say 2 bears our 1st day, horseback riding, and swimming.
