Truly amazing hideaway

Myself, my husband, and 2 other couples took a New Year's Eve trip to the Amazing Hideaway. We had a wonderful time, and spent most of our long weekend in the cabin. It is at the tip top of the mountain and has incredible views. We got iced in our first day there, and Hannah called to check on us. Roger also came out and put salt on our driveway so we could safely come down into town. I highly recommend this cozy cabin and these great owners! I look forward to returning in the fall when the bears are out and about, and plan on staying at the Amazing Hideaway when I do.

we stayed for a week. we loved it. was very close to everything yet very private. very clean. the grandbaby enjoyed watching movies in the theater room. there was 6 of us and everyone had there on room and bath. we would stay again. planning a trip next year, same time, same place. thanks kevin. we loved it.

This secluded cabin was much cleaner than any one we have stayed in for the past 8 years. It is in the perfect location. Close to pools, Ober, and downtown. We will definitely be back

Wonderful Home

We just left yesterday after 7 wonderful days at the "Smoky Mountain Diamond"! The home was just beautiful with no issues. After 7 years of coming to Gatlinburg we finally were able to come close to bears, we had the mother black bear & her 2 cubs visit several days. The baby cub liked to make sneak attacks when we were sitting on the front porch! We completely enjoyed staying at the cabin and just relaxing watching movies (great movie collection) with our kids as well as playing a game of pool. We hope to come back in 2013 as the location of this cabin was fantastic! Thanks Kevin for allowing us to stay at your cabin!

We stayed for 7 nights and did not want to leave! We had a mama and 2 cubs and they were there all the time our last 3 days. She did get the trash open one time. The morning we left, the 2 cubs had my sons water gun out in the yard chewing on it and they had also took the bag of charcol out there. The mama was resting at the edge of the woods:) We all had a really great time. The cabin was clean and plenty of linens for all of us. The cabin is quite a ways up but not hanging off the edge!! Very quiet and secluded. Our kids played on a hill out back and loved it. Kevin and Dawn are wonderful people and we can't wait to come back next summer. Thanks for a wonderful family experience!!

The greatest part of living 15 minutes away from owning and renting the cabin, is building lifelong friendships. I promised you bears, and well, what can I say...letting you have private time with them for 3 days!!! We met Kevin the the second day at his cabin, what a nice guy. This cabin is located in a great place with privacy and easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We have stayed in quite a few of different cabins in the past and this one is a winner! We will stay in this cabin in the future.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time! My family came down from MI and we went to Gatlinburg. We went to put our ribs on the grill and within minutes the bear showed up. She had 2 baby cubs with her and they entertained us for over an hour. We had to shoo her off of the deck! The place was very nice and suited all of our needs.

Great Mini Vacation

We truly enjoyed our four nights at this cabin. In the morning we drank coffee on the deck and wine in the evenings. The cabin is in great condition and probably the best place we have rented off this website. We have done Vacation Buy Owners many times and have yet to be disappointed by the price or the customer service of owners who manage the property themselves. A huge thank you to Kevin! We hope to come back before PCSing to Germany.

This cabin is wonderful. We went for a "girls getaway" and really enjoyed it. The hot tub is a nice addition. The "home theatre" makes watching movies awesome. It was extremely clean and comfortable. It is quiet and a bit secluded. A great place for a relaxing vacation. Lots of space for a big group. The owners are very nice and accomodating. They even maintained patience and a sense of humor when we got lost and could not find the meeting spot. Pricing is very reasonable. We highly recommend this cabin!

My sisters and I rented this cabin and were very pleased. The cabin is nestled among the trees and has everything you could possibly need. I think we enjoyed sitting out in the rockers and having our morning coffee the best. We saw a bear and wild turkeys and did alot of shopping, eating, reading and relaxing. I would highly recommend this cabin and do not think you could find any nicer owners to work with..Thanks Kevin and Dawn for sharing :) OOPS...forgot, the hot tub was perfect.

We had a great stay at the Smoky Mountain Diamond. There is plenty of space to spread out, the kids loved having a tv in their own room and my husband loved being able to watch the Stanley Cup finals on the big screen tv. The cabin is clean and well stocked with good quality towels and blankets. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Owners are friendly and answer all your questions. There is so much to do in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. This is a vacation that fits any budget. We had a great time at the Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, the Nascar go-cart track, Magic Quest and of course shopping! We also took a hike up the mountain to see Laurel Falls which is beautiful. We hope to return some day! Thanks for everything.

We stayed for 4 days,enjoyed the peacefulness of the area.My husband and I relaxed in the hot tub while my son watched movies on the huge TV.Gorgeous 3 story cabin with everything to make you feel at home-and a nice pool table for fun. We had a bear and her 2 cubs walk right past the deck one evening.Beautiful pool at the club house to relax at. We'll definitely return to Smoky Mtn Diamond!
