"A Great Escape" is a quiet haven located in GATLINBURG on the quiet side of the Smokies with Easy, non congested access from Exit 435 through Newport. Don't use Exit 407, if you wish to avoid the Terrible congestion of that Exit. You can expect hours of bumper to bumper traffic from Exit 407 in order to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.

"A Great Escape" is a semi-secluded cabin that has just been completely renovated in 2008. It is a 3-story, 5 BEDROOM (ENCLOSED), 3 BATHROOM chalet with a FANTASTIC Smoky Mountain view nestled on a beautiful 1,000 acre Golf resort. The 18-hole Golf course was designed by Gary Player. The resort is surrounded by the Smokies.

It is located in GATLINBURG on the Quiet Side of the park, within 15 minutes of direct access to downtown, between two park entrances, close to Hiking, Whitewater Rafting, Fishing, Horse Back Riding, and Kayaking. It has easy access to all the attractions and amenities that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge can offer.

It is also within minutes to the very large Arts and Crafts Community. The resort has 24 hour security.

Don't be fooled by locations that are closer to downtown Gatlinburg like Chalet village…), it might be closer but VERY CONGESTED. Expect bumper to bumper traffic for miles. We know, we live here!

While staying at this cabin, you will be able to enjoy free access to the 3 beautiful outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts. You will also be able to enjoy the 18 hole Golf Course designed by Gary Player (additional fee).

"A Great Escape" is spectacular 3,000 square foot cabin that is located within a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg Tennessee. Inside the living room of this beautiful three story cabin you will find two very comfortable leather sofas, that are just perfect for sitting down together and enjoying your favorite movies or TV shows on the plasma TV. Sit together in the living room and gather around as the wood-burning fireplace provides you with warm, orange glow on a cool Smoky Mountain night. Enjoy the Incredible view through the floor to ceiling windows.

The kitchen in "A Great Escape" is fully equipped with enough pots and pans for any meal and then you can sit down in the dining room or on the deck as several large picnic tables awaits you.

On the main level in "A Great Escape" you will find one bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, which is just what you need after a long day in downtown Gatlinburg Tennessee. This bedroom features a TV so you can enjoy your favorite TV shows from the bed. Also on the main level of "A Great Escape" you will find a bedroom with a twin bunk bed and a private TV, which would make the perfect room for the children or young adults in your group.

From the main level deck of "A Great Escape" you will enjoy INCREDIBLE views of the Smokies like you have never seen before.

As you head upstairs in this cabin in Cobbly Nob you will find a queen size bedroom with a TV for more members of your large group. The master bedroom with a queen size bed, wood burning fireplace, and private balcony with sitting that overlooks the breathtaking mountain view.

On the lower level of "A Great Escape" you will find a king size bed. The hot tub is right outside the lower level and will offer you views of the Smokies while relaxing your muscles after a fun day in downtown Gatlinburg Tennessee.

Also inside this cabin you can enjoy the pool table, hockey table, high speed wireless internet, washer and dryer, FREE access to three swimming pools, an 18-hole golf course (for an additional fee) and free unlimited use of the tennis court.

This cabin is PERFECT for any large group coming to the area to enjoy a vacation together. With so many amenities "A Great Escape" is just that, a great escape from everyday life.

Thanks to your friendly staff we were able to have a great stay at a great escape. The cabin was very clean. The view is incredible on all floors. The floor to ceiling windows let you take in the view. We used the 3 fireplaces and enjoyed them very much. The wireless Internet was very much appreciated by my husband and children. The free long distance was also appreciated by my daughter who was able to stay in touch with her friends. My husband and I especially enjoyed the upstairs private balcony off the MB. It is a short distance to everything without the traffic (a big plus). We can’t say enough about this great cabin and the wonderful time we had. Thanks again.
