Our family had a wonderful stay at your Victory Chalet! There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room for everyone. The Chalet was so clean and neat and very nicely furnished. The location is perfect - we spent several days at Dollywood and the water park, we also hiked the Smokey Mountain trails and Cades Cove, Clingman's Dome was awesome! And of course, we shopped in Gatlinburg. The pool was very nice and the gameroom was a huge hit with everyone. Melanie, you were such a pleasure to deal with! We will definitely recommend your wonderful home and we will come back!!

06/23/08 Positive The Chalet was wonderful. It is furnished very nicely. We had a family reunion with people of all ages and everyone loved it. We spent a lot of time on the deck and could have spent our whole vacation there. It is fairly close to everything you could want to do. Melanie just went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

Victory Retreat is a wonderful Chalet for a family gathering. Everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed the nice deck, hot tub and game room. Melanie and her husband have done an excellent job of making sure everything is available and working upon arrival. The chalet is beautifully furnished and functional. Thanks Melanie for a wonderful time.

My brother and sisters have a semi annual "sibling weekend" twice a year, we have been doing this for approximately 5 years. We always visit the Gatlinburg area because it's the halfway point for all of us. We stayed at the Victory Retreat Chalet for 4 wonderful nights and let me tell you this chalet is wonderful. Everything I read on the internet about the chalet was exactly what we found. The chalet is large enough to comfortably accommodate 12 of us, the beds were wonderful, the kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking, the deck (where we spend alot of time) and the hot tub were the "cat's meow". Melanie and Paul are fantastic hosts and want to ensure that your group has the best accommodations possible. Our family will visit A Victory Retreat Chalet again in the very near future. Thanks to Melanie and Paul for making a "sibling weekend" a weekend to remember.
03/23/08 Positive Melanie and Paul,
We absolutely had a wonderful time at your beautiful home! We loved every minute of our vacation and hated to leave after our week there. Your home is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We loved the pool table, air hockey table, hot tub, comfy furniture, very comfortable beds etc. Everything was perfect! It was just right for our group ages 12 to 70! There was room for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. Thanks again for taking us at the last minute when our other plans changed. You were so accommodating, helpful and kind. It was a pleasure and a blessing to stay in A Victory Retreat. Looking foward to coming back again.

01/04/08 Positive My husband and I, along with our three sons and their families spent a week at A Victory Retreat over Thanksgiving. We could not have been more pleased. The chalet was beautiful. The owners even decorated it for Christmas. The three levels were helpful since our group was large. Kitchen was well stocked- we cooked Thanksgiving Dinner there. I recommend this chalet to anyone wanting an authentic mountain retreat. The owners are extremely nice and helpful.

01/03/08 Positive We absolutely loved our week at Victory Retreat. There are several other cabins near by but we never felt like we were other people. The game room was a heat with the young and old alike as we played into the wee hours of the night several nights in a row. All of us enjoyed the hot tub as well and the privacy it affords. The house is well stocked and could not think of anything we needed to bring with us except ourselves and clothes. We would recommend the cabin to anyone interested in going to this area. Melanie and Phil have gone to extreme lengths to make it homey and welcoming.

04/04/07 Positive Victory Retreat is a great name for this cabin. You feel like you have won a "victory" when you leave. Our family really enjoyed this delightfully decorated and well cared for cabin. It more than met our needs We throughly enjoyed watching the nature around us. Birds building nest, chipmunks playing in the woods and the budding trees and flowers. The game room downstairs was wonderful. We all laughed with fun at each other playing Pool and Air Hockey. With all the quiet, you would never know the cabin is just a short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Lots of Crafts and eathing places. Be sure to and check out the 8 mile craft loop in Gatlinburg. I know you will enjoy staying at A Victory Retreat. Brenda Reed and family. 3/23 - 3/26

Our family (9) had a wonderful time at this chalet. It is beautifully decorated & large enough to get some quiet private time to yourself. The gameroom is a wonderful place to unwind or spend on a rainy day. The hot tub will relax your weary bones after a long day of exporing. We spotted a small bear just below the cabin on our 1st morning there. Later in the week we watched a badger working on a tree from the balcony.
Melanie is a wonderful hostess & will do everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. The location is great, on the mountain, but only a couple of minutes to get to the trolley stop.
I would highly recommend this chalet for anyone needed space for a group or several couples.
The only problem we had was we were about came about a week before the "season" opened & several things were still closed in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg.
Give Melanie a call & find out how friendly & nice that she is.
Thanks for the great week & we hope to return again sometimes.

11/27/06 Positive This is a wonderful chalet, the cleanest, prettiest and most comfortable chalet I ever stayed in. The layout is perfect, with just enough room to spread out a little. Melanie, the owner, feels like a friend and does all she can to accomodate you. Great place!!!!

10/22/06 Positive We had a group of 10 people on motorcycle stay at the Chalet in early October. The acommodations were excellent, there was plenty of room for all of us, the 3 floors really spread everyone out so it doesn't feel like you are on top of each other. The game room was a great place to unwind in the evening. The fireplaces were great and kick out a ton of heat to take that evening chill out of you. The deck out back was great for morning coffee and the hottub was great to relax our weary bones after a long day riding down the great curvy roads. We had no problems with the home while we were there but I am quite confident that one quick call would have been all that was needed to get anything taken care of. An excellent property overall and great people to work with. I recommend the property to anyone with a large group who want some quiet relaxing R&R.
07/24/06 Positive We (11 of us) stayed at A Victory Retreat the week of 7-15-06 to 7-22-06 and had a wonderful time. The location was great(between Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge and the chalet was very homey and tastefully decorated. The game room was a hit with the younger crowd while the comfortable living room and deck were great for the readers. The pool was convenient and very nice. We had side trips to the Naional Park to hike and tour Cades Cove as well as a fun afternoon in Townsend tubing on the river. We would highly recommend A Victory Retreat for a wonderful Smoky Mt. vacation.
06/19/06 Positive We spent the week of June 10-17 at "A Victory Retreat". There were 11 of us and we had a wonderful time. The pool table, air hockey, checkers and the hot tub, and swimming pool up on the hill, short hikes, made a great week for us. Your home is very comfortable and affordable. Thank you!

06/18/06 Positive The Carper family (11 of us) had a great time Memorial Day weekend at your chalet. Your chalet was just as you described but you did not give the game room justice! The teenagers really enjoyed the air hockey and pool table. It was hard to get some of the adults away from the games too! We appreciated the ample room for sleeping.
The deck was a great place for eating, reading, and socializing. Everything was perfect for our weekend. NO complaints!!
