Description of the Gaylord vacation chalet rental

The Schug Chalet is the larger of 2 houses on the lakefront of beautiful Lake Arrowhead. The house is a 4 bedroom 2 bath modern chalet with all the conveniences of home. There is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, ice maker, microwave,and much more. The laundry room is complete with a Neptune washer and dryer. There is a full size pool table in the rec room, along with 2 TV's, DVD's, satellite dish up and down, and a natural wood fireplace for your enjoyment.Next door there is an additional 2 bedroom home with 1-1/2 baths, which is a perfect annex to the larger home. Get a discount for renting the 2 homes together. There is a full wrap around deck with gas BBQ grille, deck furniture and a wonderful view of the lake. From there you can watch the wildlife of Bald Eagles, Pileated Woodpeckers, Black Squirrels, and Beavers. The all-sports lake is perfect for jet-skis, skiing, canoes, paddle boats and pontoon boats. The lakefront has a dock for your boat and a sandbox for your kids to play in. There is also a fire pit to complete your up-north experience.

Area Description

All-sports Lake Arrowhead is located 11 miles SW of Gaylord off Hayes-Tower road. As part of our lake association our guests would enjoy a heated pool and bath house, playground area, picnic pavilion, boat launch and sandy beach. Located in the middle of the golf mecca, there are 22 championship golf courses to choose from. Also close by there are hiking trails, swimming, canoeing, 4-wheeling, jet-skiing, and boating. We are centrally located in the state, about one hour south of the Mackinac Bridge. Within an hour's drive there is Mackinac Island, Traverse City Festivals, sport fishing, casino gambling, museum attractions, and lots of wonderful shopping.

Peaceful nature inspired atmosphere. All-sports lake is good for swimming, fishing, jet-skiing. Very close to many activities such as sport fishing, water parks, festivals, and the Great Lakes experience.
