Description of the Gaylord vacation home rental

Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, living room, family room, dining area, walkout basement.

Set on 180 acres, nicely wooded with mature trees, this property is near the Wilderness Valley and Black Forest Golf Courses.

All Wilderness Valley amenities, including access to private lake, beach and picnic grounds.

Fully equipped kitchen includes, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, utensils, and other small appliances. Dining room table and snack bar seats 8-10 people.

Other amenities include free WI-FI high speed internet, gas forced air heat, window air, gas fireplace, washer, dryer, large deck, DirecTV with movie channels, outdoor gas barbecue, camp fire pit and ample parking.

Bedrooms include queen size, double or twin beds and am/fm clock radio. All linens are provided.

Living room includes TV, stereo system, CD player, DVD player, and VCR.

Located just off a paved county road for convenient easy access.

Plenty of snowmobile/ORV trailer parking.

Direct access to groomed DNR snowmobile trails.

Area Information

Great place to ride your off road vehicles, ATV, ORV, dirtbikes. Direct access to official DNR ORV trails nearby. Most county roads are open to ORVs. Enjoy 1000s of miles of great riding in Otsego, Crawford, Kalkaska and Antrim Counties.

Christmas 2012

The Snowman Cabin was a great place for our family to get together for Christmas this year. The owner Ken was very attentive to our needs especially with the 18" snowfall. We enjoyed all the animals we saw: deer, turkey, squirrels, all sorts of birds. You can view them too on the live webcam. We had a blast snowmobiling from our cabin to the nearby trails. Perfect location! We definitely recommend this cabin for any retreat you may be planning.
