Spacious house in private setting!

“ Excellent ”
October 6, 2014
Spacious three bedroom house with a nice view of the lake, yet still plenty of privacy. Only a couple of neighbors, who we only saw once. Very peaceful setting, and the house had lots of windows and deck space to enjoy what nature had to offer. You get a three bedroom house in a very nice setting for the price of many motel rooms!

Christmas 2012

“ Excellent ”
December 27, 2012
The Snowman Cabin was a great place for our family to get together for Christmas this year. The owner Ken was very attentive to our needs especially with the 18" snowfall. We enjoyed all the animals we saw: deer, turkey, squirrels, all sorts of birds. You can view them too on the live webcam. We had a blast snowmobiling from our cabin to the nearby trails. Perfect location! We definitely recommend this cabin for any retreat you may be planning.

Lots of space!

“ Excellent ”
July 27, 2014
This house is huge, with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, plus a large basement there is room for everyone to spread out and relax. The hot tub is wonderful. Not far from town, but in a secluded area. Lots of room for parking, we had trailers with 4 wheelers. Nice table and chairs on the deck for outdoor eating. Plenty of towels, blankets, well stocked kitchen. Central air was a plus, good communication with owner. Would rent again!

A week full of exploring!

“ Excellent ”
August 8, 2013
We had an enjoyable week at this cottage. The size and set up was perfect for my husband, 5 teenagers, and myself. We all had our own space and privacy. The lake was rather shallow but the kids enjoyed taking the canoe and paddleboat exploring on the 3 islands. We enjoyed hiking on the trails at the end of the street. It was also great having the community pool to use. Overall we were happy with our experience throughout the week!

Great cottage on a quiet lake

“ Excellent ”
August 16, 2014
I had a great time at this cottage with my friends. We went as two couples, and there was a whole extra bedroom left over.. We spent a lot of time swimming in the lake, canoeing, kayaking, soaking in the hot tub, and barbecuing. There are a few powerboats that use the lake, but they mostly stay on the other side of the narrow neck to the big half so it's perfectly quiet and safe to swim by the cottage. The hot tub is great. There are no lights, but there's more than enough room. There's a privacy screen, not that there's an urgent need for one. Me and my friends ended up reading a lot in the tub. It's a good way to warm up for the lake, or relax after. There's a bunch of stuff in the area for daytrips. It's 45 minutes to rafting on Sturgeon river and about an hour from Mackinaw island. Gaylord itself is quite nice, with several restaurants and grocery stores in town.
