Fantastic Cottage

This was our first stay,but certainly won't be our last ! I have nothing but POSTITIVE things to say and that list is endless !!! We were there for Thunder on the Strip and 3 couples stayed here. We needed NOTHING ! The cottage was spotless and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed ! The rain that we had during our visit didn't put a damper on us because we felt "at home" there. I've never met Estelle,but I love her! Such a pleasent woman to deal with. We had 1 minor issue and it was dealt with immediately!All in all,on a scale of 1-10, our visit was off the chart! We all enjoyed the cottage and can't wait til next year !! Thanks,again,to Estelle & Dave.

The cottage was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway. The decor was clean and cozy. It was close to the action but far enough away to avoid the noise. We would definitely stay here again!!

Just Like Home!

This sweet and tastefully decorated cottage was a quiet and restful weekend getaway for my husband and I and our friends. We had all the comforts of home and everything we needed to kick back and relax and enjoy each others' company! The owners are wonderful and helpful and answer your emails almost immediately. The backyard of the cottage is a vacation in itself, beautiful flowers, table and chairs and even a gas grill. There isn't anything I can think of that wasn't supplied by the owners. We were mailed our deposit back immediately also. Thank you Estelle, for a great weekend getaway, we know that we will be back!

Francis Cottage was absolutely perfect for our group of six. The kitchen had everything we needed to make fantastic meals. We had a fire everynight and played cards and board games on the table out back. We walked the strip, went to antique shops, the beach, and checked out the Medieval Faire. Close enough to everything and yet far enough away to have much needed quality time. Estelle and Dave are quick to help with any issues. I loved everything about the cottage, but the fire pit was definately the icing on the cake :) They even furnished the wood!!!

We are so glad that we found Francis Cottage and decided to book it. It really couldn't have been more perfect for our group. It is the cutest cottage. There's lots of room and practically everything you need (in case you forget something). I was worried initially about how far the walk was going to be, but it's really not bad at all. I would suggest not wearing flip flops the entire time! I did, not thinking, and my feet were killing me. It's only about a 7 minute walk to Eddie's. And I would much rather have a place that's secluded a bit rather than right on the strip. We had such a great time. In fact, immediately after we saw the place, we decided that we're making an annual tradition out of coming to Francis Cottage. Highly recommended! And Estelle is a pleasure to work with. Super efficient, helpful, patient and responds to emails almost immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we can't wait to go back! Thank you so much!

I have been staying "on the strip" at Geneva for years now and decided this summer that I wanted something nicer. Though I sacrificed lakefront views, Francis Cottage was like staying at a 5 star hotel! I was amazed by it's cleanliness and homey decorations. The kitchen is well stocked and even includes a microwave- the washer and dryer were soo convenient as well (they even supply the laundry detergent and dyer sheets!)- no more bringing home tons of dirty towels! The backyard is a quiet little retreat complete with gas grill and BBQ utensils and fire pit! The beds were freshly changed and tons of bath towels are provided. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH about how pleased I was with this place. If you don't mind a little walk to the strip or a 10 minute drive to the beach, I would definitely recommend this beautiful little home away from home to anyone! The management company was also very quick to respond to my emails and refund the deposit. *****Sue B *****

We had an all girls getaway this past weekend. We had a blast at Geneva on the Lake!! The house was spotless and had all the amenities you could want. We even made smores on the firepit out back!! The convient location was perfect so we could leave our minivans behind and pretend like we were 20 again and walk to the strip:)

My stay at the francic cottage was wonderful. The cottage was very clean. Loved the way it was decorated. Enjoyed sitting in the backyard it was like a little oasis the way it was fenced in. Beautiful flowers and flower baskets all around. I even watered them. the firepit even came with firewood. Easy walk to the strip. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone wanting to go to Geneva on the Lake.

This cottage is absolutely adorable! Very cozy! It has everything you could need, just like home! I even saw a cake pan in the cupboard! The decor is just right. The outside has tons of blooming flowers! I would recommended!

The Francis Cottage was such a great find! It's even more beautiful than in the photos. Very CLEAN, beautifully decorated, convenient location to the strip (close, yet set back in a quiet neighborhood). They supply everything you can think of, such as linens, dishes, cookware, utensils, they even have a "junk drawer" with markers, pens, paper etc., soap, towels, and more. There were 7 of us staying and there was plenty of room for all. We felt right at home...highly recommended...

This cottage is everything the pictures show and more, from the beautiful flowers and private backyard to an immaculate interior. It is stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen is great for cooking. The location is perfect for walking everywhere. We couldn't have found a better place as it far exceeds most cottages there and is priced right too. My sisters and I will definitely come back!

My family and I really enjoyed are stay at Francis Cottage. They supply eveything you need. It's very clean and you'll feel like your at home in this cottage. Loved the fenced in back yard. The location is great, and you can walk to the main strip. My grandson enjoyed the beach at the state park. My husband loved the greens at the golf course. My daughter enjoyed all the different winery's. Great weekend..

This cottage is as cute as it looks in the pictures. It was thoughtfully decorated with love. The owner has included everything your family might need from soap (laundry and bath) to extra propane tanks for the grill. Even the back yard is darling with a privacy fence and flowers everywhere. It really is like staying in someone's home. I highly recommend the Francis Cottage. I truly believe it is one of the nicest ones in Geneva on the Lake. We felt lucky to be there! This cottage was beautiful, all updated new furnishings and a great location!We had no problems with anything and really enjoyed our stay. Compared to most of the places in Geneva this was by far the nicest.
