Great Fall get away! Best of the Maine coast! Views of the rugged Maine coast from a beautiful sandy beach on Indian Point. Very comfortable 3 bedroom, four season cottage right on the beach. Classic Maine views of pine tree covered Islands, majestic light houses and rocky coves littered with colorful lobster buoys. Great cottage for a family or a romantic getaway. The cottage interior is all natural pine with a stone fireplace. The open kitchen/dining/ living room area over looks the beach and spectacular views.
Special Spring and Fall rates. Ask any "Mainiac" and they will tell you June, September and October are the best months to be in Maine.

Located on Indian Point, a private 400 acre land preserve of woods, beaches, bays , tidal sand flats, majestic rock promontories and spectacular views. Indian Point is at the southern most tip of Georgetowm, which sits between the mouth of the Sheepscot and Kennebec Rivers. Though most stay on Indian Point for its feeling of a remote island get away, others take the 10 minute drive to well known Georgetown attractions such as the beaches of Reid State Park and Five Islands Lobster Wharf , known for its delicious lobster feasts and one of the prettiest views in Maine. Other Georgetown attractions include The Robinhood Meeting House ( five star dining), Georgetown Pottery and several artists' galleries. A little farther down the road, twenty minutes away is the historic town of Bath with its many wonderful shops and restaurants as well as the Maine Maritime Museum . For more sightseeing, Portland and Boothbay Harbor are both only an hour drive away.

My family and I just returned from our Ten day stay at the Holland's beach House. It's was wonderful !!! The house itself was warm and cosy,but the best thing was the location !! Couldn't get a better beach,almost private and so breath-taking ,It was the best vacation stay we have ever had.Remote,yet worth it.We plan to return there yearly.

The view from the Sewall Cottage was extraordinary. It combined a beautiful beach in front and to the side of the cottage with the best of Maine's rocky coastline. The cottage was also wonderful with views from the porch , the dining area and the kitchen. I felt the cottage was just the right size - cozy and very comfortable and well kept. We felt so lucky to be able to have this place for a week and hope to return.

We spent 5 nights at this cottage. The home provided all the amenities needed. Fabulous stone fireplace, spectacular views of the Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Breathtaking views of 15+ foot waves off the Promontory right outside the kitchen picture window. Plenty of beach and hiking access. Quiet and cozy surroundings. Perfect for a romantic getaway or for a group occasion. We will be back!
