This lovely cottage is in the middle of Adams County apple orchard country. Michaux State Park is only 10 minutes away with the Appalachian Trail as well as other hiking trails. There is also biking--both mountain biking and road biking--and swimming and fishing at Fuller Lake and Laurel Lake. Like to golf? Drive 10 minutes to one course, 25 minutes to another. Baltimore is 1 1/2 hours away; Washington, DC is 2 hours away; Lancaster County--Amish country is 1 1/2 hours away; Hershey Park is 1 1/2 hours away.  Cozy Cottage Reunion, October 27, 2009

4 friends and I stayed at the Cozy Cottage this past weekend. We had a great time. The cabin was warm and inviting and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the fireplace didn't work and we were not allowed to use the wood stove. Perhaps those items should be taken off this list of amenities. Otherwise, everything was really great!

A very nice cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. The cottage is nicely appointed. The kitchen appliances are very functional, but a little dated. The cottage was a little difficult to find after dark, but well worth the effort. The wooded surroundings were beautiful in the morning. We really enjoyed the Gettysburg area and would not hesitate to rent this cottage again on a return visit.
