The historic Beecher House is a beautiful, newly restored and tastefully decorated, pre Civil War country home. Surrounded by countryside views, this wonderful spacious family home, minutes from historic Gettysburg, is the perfect getaway for your family.

Fully fitted with everything you would need, you don't need to worry about anything and can concentrate on the most important thing, having an amazing stay!

With more than an acre of garden, there is plenty of space to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

We now have Cable TV and internet access!
Plus an extensive range of DVDs, books and games, for quiet nights in!

Area Description

The beautiful Beecher House is located minutes from historic Gettysburg, has views of the beautiful South Mountain range, and is in the heart of the picturesque orchards of Apple Country!

The views are stunning, the front of the house looks over fields, hills and orchards. The rear of the property is a large garden, with the south mountain range in the distance. There are some beautiful places to walk around. You are truly in the middle of Beautiful Pennsylvania.

This wonderful period house is the perfect country vacation home. A true home away from home...

The Beecher House sleeps upto 6 (six) people.

Weekly rates begin at $945
Two week rate begins at $1795

A damages/cleaning/security deposit of $250 is required and is fully refundable if no damages are incurred.

Please note: Cancellations 28 days prior to the arrival date the deposit is non refundable. If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival the entire balance will be charged.

Vacation Rental Policies

Payment Options: PayPal, Personal Check
Check In: 2 p.m.
Check Out: 11 a.m.
Required Stay: 4 days
Deposits: A damage deposit ($250) is payable with, and in addition to, the balance (or full) payment of the rental. This is refunded within 7-14 days of departure. For bookings made less than six weeks before the commencement of the rental, total rental fee is payable on booking.
Other Fees: CANCELLATION If the booking is cancelled within four weeks of the arrival date, the entire balance will be forfeited. For cancellations made prior to four weeks before the arrival date, a percentage of the rental fee will be refundable.

Our stay at the Beecherhouse, November 8, 2009

The house had everything that we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and well maintained. It was the perfect location for our Gettysburg vacation. It also served as a good base of operation for seeing other sights such as Washington D.C. and Baltimore. The antiques, pretty pictures and wall decorations really set off the decor. This was much better than staying in a hotel!

I had a fantastic time during my stay at The Beecher House in Gettysburg, and would definately give it 10/10! The house is absoloutly beautiful with each room telling its own story. Well equipped with everything you need and more, and couldnt make you feel more at home! The house is in a great location and the view is stunning, especially on an early sunny morning, it was truely a spectacular sight to wake up to! I had a great time whilst visiting Gettysburg and can not wait to visit again, and of course will definately be staying in The Beecher House.

The Beecher House is a beautiful house, superbly renovated and in a wonderful location, surrounded by countryside. Close to Gettysburg National Park and all that Gettysburg has to offer for the discerning Civil War buff or those just wanting a relaxing get-away-from-it-all break.
