Description of the Gilford vacation home rental

This three story house(new construction) is located on a quiet mountain drive with all the comforts of home. The three decks(two large wrap arounds and one balcony deck off a bedroom) provide plenty of relaxing space to enjoy the views of Lake Winnipesaukee and Ossipee mountains- The yard is very spacious with a fire pit and a wonderful area to play lawn games and sled in the winter. Features: Game room with ping-pong table, family room with gas fireplace, deck off third floor bedroom, washer and dryer, board games and outdoor games/sleds,fire pit. Will rent mid-week for reduced rates

Area Information

Great location for four seasons of fun with Lake Winnipesaukee(access to 3 local beaches) and Gunstock Mountain-(wonderful fall foliage,tubing,snowshoeing,cross country,downhill skiing, hiking and zip lines)less than a 5 min. ride. There is an abundance of attractions and activities just minutes away- a short list includes: Meadowbrook-outdoor/indoor concert venue hosting big name artists, boat and train cruises around the lake(including the only U.S. mail boat that delivers to the islands!) Ellacoya State Park, Loudon NASCAR raceway, many great restaurants and casual places to eat, waterslide, "FunSpot" Worlds Largest Indoor Arcade -new playhouse, outlet shopping, Drive-in theater, biking trails,golf, mini-golf,strawberry and bluberry picking,fishing, Weirs Beach-enjoy a walk on the boardwalk, shopping and dining by the lake.

Awesome views!

Very nice home with great views of the lake. Was perfect for our family. Game room was a great bonus and kept everyone entertained in the evenings. Minutes away from Gunstock Mountain. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful house, great location

We first rented this house for a weekend in August 2011 and have spent two more weekends there since. We really love it! Carolyn and Rebecca, who takes care of the house, are very nice and welcoming, and the house is great: plenty of space for our group of 6 friends, beautiful decks with amazing view and lots of amenities. The area is ideal for both summer and winter vacations, with the lake and the Gunstock ski area nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed the three weekends spent in Gilford, and are planning another trip to the house this winter.

The house was just beautiful. As where the views. We were close to many attractions and restaurants that we went to. The weather was beautiful. It was very nice to have the ping pong table we played quite a bit. It was very relaxing and quite. We had a great time and if we ever were to go to that area we would for sure stay there. We were looking forward to using the hottub. But there was plenty other things to keep us busy.

my family rent this home for 4 night . the home surpass description. The lovely photos showcasing the property on the Vacation Homes Rentals web site represent the home exactly as is, although it is more beautiful and elegant than photos can reveal. All amenities to insure our trip was perfect were provided by the owners. satisfaction and expectations. The home is spotless and well appointed. Anyone who rents this home will be delighted they chose it. Gorgeous house with spectacular views!

My husband, my two kids, ages 7 and 10, and I spent four days of our vacation at this gorgeous, spacious house with stunning views of the mountains and the lake. The decks were huge and had a nice grill and a table and chairs for relaxation. The kitchen was great and it was fully equipped with everything you need. The game room and the TV room and a closet full of toys were great for the kids. The area was convenient to Weirs beach, Fun Spot arcade, Whales Tale water park, Chucksters, restaurants and supermarket, etc. The caretaker was super nice, welcoming and very helpful as well. Overall, this comfortable, modern house was perfect for relaxing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely house.

Beautiful Place

August 25, 2011

My husband and two children (ages 8 and 13) stayed here for a long weekend. It was located between Gunstock and Ellacoya State Park..just where we wanted it to be. My brother and his friend also came and the house felt very spacious with the 6 of us sleeping in it. It's set high on a hill so the view of the lake are just gorgeous. The kids really enjoyed the game room and tv room on the lower level. The house is fairly new..which is always a plus. Well worth it!
