Description of the Gleneden Beach vacation home rental
This roomy home is perfect for a group, a family or even two families and is very children friendly. This fully appointed home is located on a quiet street with close Beach Access less than 100 yards away. The large living room with gas fireplace and dining room area with seating for 8 is off the fully appointed kitchen, the space is open and comfortable.
The Master Bedroom/Bath is located on the main floor. The spacious master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, TV and private bath with a tub/shower. Also located on the main floor is an additional full bath with shower and a utility room with washer, dryer and large sink. The large bedroom upstairs, has a king size bed, TV/DVD and private deck with a beautiful ocean surf views. The third bedroom is also large with a queen size bed, two twin beds, a sitting area and even an ocean view. Fourth Bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, TV/VCR, sitting area with a daybed, great for kids to sit and watch movies and an ocean view. The large garage has a pool table and ping pong table for all to enjoy and a nice patio out back with a picnic table and Hot Tub! Relax and enjoy the hot tub under the stars or sit on the front porch deck to enjoy the waves and listen to the ocean. Better yet take a break on the second story deck with Full Ocean view. Excellent Beach House Vacation

I have never stayed at a house that came this furnished before. The house had everything for your stay. Very clean, great view from the upstairs balcony and a great hot tub. Plenty of space in the living room for all 8 house guest to rest, relax and visit. Only a short 50 yard walk down the street and you are on the beach. Easy access. Also very appreciative that pets were allowed and were able to come on vacation with us and enjoy the house and beach as well. Definitely will be planning another visit and stay at this location and strongly recommend this house to anyone wanting ot stay in the Lincoln City, Depoe Bay area of the coast. 5 star accomodations.

This property was a wonderful home for our vacation! The beach access was so close and easy. This home was the most furnished we have seen making cooking, cleaning, and just hanging around simple. The owners were very easy to work with and gave the most detailed, easy to follow directions. The best part was we were able to travel with our 4-legged children and they had outdoor space too! Family beach trip

Loved the location, the home was very clean and comfortable. I do wish there was a bathroom upstairs. Nice short walk to the beach access, that said it was difficult for little ones and elders to mange on their own for the last 10ft. We made use of the pool table and hot tub. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked with eating and cooking utensils. Easy trips into Depot Bay and Lincoln City and nearby Thriftway. Loved the nearby restaurant the Side Door Cafe, had a great lunch there. We would come and stay here again.

Thanks Donna for the nice review! We love our location too! So close to Depo Bay and Linclon City and really quiet. The wave action at Gleneden Beach is much greater then in Lincoln City and at times will bring sand in or take sand out over the winter months. Some years you could drive a car down to the beach and other years it takes the sand out and leaves the access a little more difficult. Thanks again and look forward to hearing from you in the future.

A Great Family Get-together

My family, including 4 preschoolers aged 5 and under, three married couples, and grandmother had a very pleasant time at Hayden House. We spent a lot of time on the beach and were pleased that it was just a short walk out the front door to get there. Kites, paper airplanes, pulled-pork BBQ (our son makes this), card playing, reading, relaxing....a great time was had by all! I highly recommend this home to families wishing for a quiet get-away!

Took most of our kids and grandkids on a vacation to the coast and had a wonderful time. The house was spacious with lots of ammenities, hot tub, pool table, pingpong table, well stocked kitchen and plenty of beds for everyone to get a good nights sleep. Access to the ocean was very close and the beach rarely had anyone else on it. Close to Lincoln City and Newport for activities. We would certainly stay there again. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was the view. There's a big hedge that needs to be trimmed down if you'd rather look out the windows than have more privacy. A great rental for a great price

Our family rented Hayden House for a weekend birthday celebration. Eleven people stayed in the house, but we used it for all of our meals for 15-18 people. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen, including things like a coffee grinder, spices, serving dishes. We didn't have to bring anything as the kitchen was so well equipped. The house was clean upon our arrival, and alll beds were made up. Ample towels were provided, with separate ones for the hot tub. The ping pong table and the pool table are user friendly and great for a rainy afternoon. We enjoyed watching the pelicans and the fishing boats from the upper level. We would rent the house again without hesitation.

Elbow Room for the whole darn family!

We enjoyed our time at Waldport. The house we rented was large enough for my mother (84 y/o), my husband and self (60s), my two adult sons, daughter and son-in-law and two adult grandchildren, and our dog Jackie. We could each have our own corner as needed. Though some beds were more comfortable than others, the house allowed sleep accomodations of some degree to 9 adults. We loved the large windows which brought in sunlight and a view of the ocean. It was not a long drive to transport my mother to a beach she could access. My granddaughter ran the beach from the rented house ritually every evening and every morning. The house was nice and clean enough. A few spots left on the carpet by earlier renters or owners, just made it realistically liveable for my gang, otherwise a constant concern due to its light color. My daughter and husband got the penthouse bedroom and that enhanced their time away from work together. The keybox was a great feature. We loved the house and hope to be back soon.
