The Cottage is in an excellent location for Sandy beaches, hill walking,Golf ,fishing,pony trekking,Glenveagh National Park and Castle,also Slieve League (Europes highest sea Cliffs)Deep sea fishing off Killybegs 17 miles, also a lovely drive to the Giants causeway or just relaxing,a painters paradise.
Also the Fintown railway,Donegals only operational narrow gauge railway, this unique journey is a three mile return trip right along the shores of Loch Finn.

Really enjoyed our stay in Barn Owl Cottage and we used it as a base to tour all over Donegal. It was ideal for us as a couple of independant travellers who just want a small self catering place not a house like most of the others that we looked at. Good value and would recommend it to others!
