GLENWOOD HOT SPRINGS
The Glenwood springs waters have been used since the 1800's. The pool was built originally in 1890. The pools are filled with mineral-packed spring waters from the Yampah Springs. The water is so hot when it comes from the springs (122 degrees) that they actually have to add cold water to the spring water for the pools. There are two adult pools, one pool is kept at 90 degrees and the other (the therapy pool) is kept at a steamy 104 degrees. Both feel so good. The water is very soft feeling and there are jaccuzi type chairs to sit in with water jets..
