Description of the Gloucester vacation apartment rental

Second floor apartment in building abutting small beach at entrance to Rocky Neck Art Colony. Full size bed in bedroom; sofa in living room opens to full size bed; waterfront porch; bath with tub/shower combination; small kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Linens provided. Cable TV, wireless Internet; Master Card and Visa accepted.
Beautiful, unobstructed ocean views; on a clear day you can see to Boston. Sit in your apt. or on your porch and watch boats appear on the horizon and sail by; sea birds in the tidal cove; sunsets over the water. Want to swim? Just walk downstairs; the building is on the private section of the beach so it is never overcrowded. Bring your kayak; at high tide the water is only a few yards from the building. Couple minutes walk to summer restaurants, art galleries, summer theater.
No pets or smokers please.

Gloucester is a popular tourist destination. There are many water related activities: whale watching, boat rides, deep sea fishing, kayak rentals, large public beaches. There are a number of parks, hiking trails, scenic drives. There are several summer theaters (one is a 2 minute walk from the apartment). There are free outdoor band concerts, festivals (most famous are the St. Peter's Fiesta and the Schooner races) and many local opportunities for entertainment. There are several local museums and a chamber music festival.
