Description of the Gloucester vacation home rental

Ours is a wonderful home. It's on a hill and 3-acres of woods and lawns overlooking Lobster Cover.

Gloucester and Rockport are nearby and lovely places to stroll, dine and enjoy music.

Boston's an easy train ride away and the highway's nearby as well.

The 100-year old house is light and airy. We have privileges to a private beach that is a wonderful walk away--over a pedestrian bridge that spans Lobster Cove and through the village.

We have an outdoor shower and hot tub, and lawn games.

The house sleeps six that includes a king bed, queen, and bunk bed in daughter's room (we could rent a bed for this room if a couple wishes to sleep here). We can accommodate another couple by folding out the futon sofa in the living room.

No smokers or pets please.

Area Information

We live in a village with a smattering of suburban homes.There is a lovely private beach .5 miles away to which we are members. There are also many public beaches nearby.
