Set just back from the water, our 2 bedroom, 2 bath cape is the ideal spot for your Maine vacation. On the first floor is an eat-in kitchen, living room with gas fireplace a bedroom with queen bed and a full bath. The kitchen door leads to a covered back porch which looks out onto the water. The entire second floor is the master suite. It has a queen size bed placed to allow you to see the water from the bed and a twin bed tucked in the alcove. There is a full bath and a sliding glass door which opens onto a private deck overlooking the ocean. A gas fireplace is in the sitting area in the alcove. The shore is beautiful ledges and pebbly beach and at low tide one can expore the shore line in both directions. The view over the ocean is westerly and the sunsets are amazing. Watch the lobstermen hauling traps or sleek sail boats cruising the waters between this lovely home and Mount Desert Island, home to Acadia National Park. A portion of the park is just minutes from our home on the Schoodic Peninsula. Wake every morning to the invigorating smell of the ocean and fall asleep each night to the sound of the waves kissing the shore.

Kingsley Farm is a residential area with summer and year round residents. We are just minutes from Winter Harbor where one can shop, dine and enjoy live entertainment at Schoodic Arts for All. Just beyond the town is Schoodic. Part of Acadia National Park it is a peninsula with bold ocean frontage and cozy coves to explore. There is a wonderful golf course just a short drive away. Grindstone Neck Golf Course is the 2nd oldest in Maine, built in 1891. It is 9 holes and overlooks the water. 40 minutes away on Mount Desert Island is the main body of Acadia National Park with miles of hiking and biking trails. Make a day of it. Explore the 4 island towns. Enjoy the festive atmosphere and then return to your haven at Sea Witch Way.
