Casuarina Bay is an exceptionally beautiful, secluded hideaway on the island of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas.
Just two lovely houses share this very private bay on the Atlantic, skirted by miles of pink sand beaches.

The house affords a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean from every room, amidst a picturesque grove of coconut palms, colorful hibiscus, fragrant frangipani flowers, sea grape and Casuarina trees.

The Beachfront House at Casuarina bay was designed and built to savor the incredible natural unspoiled beauty of Eleuthera. It's only 20 yards from its own pink-sand beach, so wherever you are in the house you have breathtaking views in all directions. To the east you see the turquoise ocean and glistening beach. Looking to the west your eyes rest on untouched green hills and colorful Caribbean sunsets. At night the brilliance of the stars and moon are unforgettable.

The house is built on a 14 acre estate stretching across to the ocean on other side of the island. The property is filled with lush plants and fragrant tropical flowers. You can relax on our many decks, private beach or in the thatched cabana, where there is a freshwater shower. There is a BBQ area over looking the water and outdoor dinning areas on the deck, in the garden and on the beach.

Area Description

Ocean-lovers will find some of the best snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming in the world. Underwater visibility is up to 100 feet, with water temperatures ranging between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Easily accessible, Casuarina Bay is just 1 hour by air from Miami, and only seven miles from Governors Harbour airport. It's located 1.5 miles northeast of the quaint village of Governors Harbour, one of the oldest settlements in the Bahamas.

This was my first time back in a few years and all I can say is "WOW". The natural beauty of Casuarina Bay never ceases to take my breath away, but it was really nice to see how the houses have been kept up so well. Each house has a new, beautifully "Caribbean" paint job. The colors compliment the sand, sea, and the gorgeous hibiscus and various flowers. I love the new signs!
As always we loved eating our lunches under the Cabana on the beach. It's a great way to please the whole family because there's shade and sun and you don't have to eat in the sand...but you're 15 steps from the crystal clear water! I will always remember fondly hunting for Mangoes, kayaking, and the bonfires on the beach. It's the only place I've been on vacation where you basically have a private beach. The beach at Casuarina Bay is so quiet and secluded, it's hard not to feel like a V.I.P. This place is truly magical and it's so great to see that it is constantly being nourished. Each time I think it can't get better...then I come back and they've improved upon what I thought was already perfection. I look forward to coming back again and again! Thanks for an unforgettable vacation!!
