Description of the Governor's Harbour vacation villa rental

This secluded luxurious oceanfront caribbean hideaway is situated on a secluded pink sand beach surrounded by gracious fragrant tropical gardens. This newly refurbished, executive retreat consists of a main house with four ensuite bedrooms on two separate levels, and an additional bedroom and bath in an adjacent wing of the house.
There are also two full guest houses -- each with a separate bedroom, bath, full kitchen/living room, and private oceanfront terrace.

The main house boasts a newly remodeled kitchen that is a chef's delight. There is also an outdoor kitchen (added December 2004) featuring 2 stainless grills, one gas and one charcoal. There is plenty of opportunity to make a sumptuous meal or simply make reservations!

Relax in the large freshwater pool and adjoining pool house . Enjoy a tropical drink made at the pool wetbar while relaxing on the built in bench in the pool or on the numerous pool chaises.Just down the path is the 600+ feet of your own glorious secluded beach. This is one of the most fabulous beaches anywhere in the Bahamas and it is nearly always empty. If you enjoy a bit of shade a tiki hut is built at the waters edge for your enjoyment.

The compound is surrounded by very large properties -- all of which are privately owned. These homes are rarely used so there is true solitude and complete privacy.

This is the largest and probably the most private home available on Eleuthera, It is located on the very secluded end of Club Med Beach and the oceanfront is totally pink sand with no rocks of any kind. This beach rivals Pink Sands in Harbor Island but it is much more private. There are a number of fun restaurants in the area, namely Tippy's, Dolcevita, Mate and Jenny's, Sunset, Unique etc. Great home for family reunion, a few couples who want a week at the beach, corporate retreat, honeymooners and those who are hiding from the paparazzi.

Best vacation rental we ever had. Clean, great location, nice privacy and wonderful beach.Housekeeper was a gem and very helpful.The pool was a great for evening swims.Would have liked a hot tub.
