Description of the Grachen vacation chalet rental
Situated in the small mountain village of Grachen, Chalet Sans Souci offers a sun terrace and balcony that directly faces a mountain valley.
Ideal for snow skiing and snowboarding in the winter, this car-free ski village with offers slopes that are within walking distance of the Chalet. The world class ski slopes in Zermatt are about a 30 minute drive away, where it is possible to ski into Italy! Daily bus and train services are available to and from Zermatt and Grachen.
In the summer, Grachen offers some of the most spectaluar hiking trails in the world. Quite forested trails are located throughout the hilly landscape, while more difficult rocky trails provide a range of opportunities for hikes and casual walks.
The charming little village is great for families, or for a romantic gettaway. Sans Souci is located WITHIN A 5 MINUTE walk of the village center, where a variety of shoppes, bakeries, incredible restaurants, hotels, and grocers are available.
The Chalet sleeps four people, with a master bedroom and a seperate bedroom that sleeps two. The Chalet offers a full service kitchen and bathroom.

Nice place for a family visit

We stayed at the chalet for one week with our two sons (5 and 3 years) and very much enjoyed the experience. The chalet is located close to the slopes, a short walking distance or one stop by bus (included in the ski ticket). The ski area is one of the most child friendly areas we have ever visited. Our children enjoyed building a snowman at the patio and building the fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is equipped to meet all of our cooking needs. We hope to return some time soon!

Our family of four really enjoyed the apartment, it was within walking distance to the ski area. Our children had the best time in the ski school and activities in the mountain. Hope we can return.

We had a great week staying at Sans Souci with 2 young children. The slopes are just a short walk away as are all the shops and restaurants we needed for a fun family holiday. The neat appartment was very comfortable with all the basic needs. Our 3 year old enjoyed Sisu and Timo the clown at the well run ski school that caters for all ages. It is also a great spot to access Zermatt and Saas Fee for a day of skiing or sight seeing. Thanks and I hope we can return one day.

The ultimate skiing experience

Me and my partner had a fantastic time staying at this very charming chalet for almost a week! The place had everything we needed, including a fireplace and balcony. The skiing in Grachen is very good and only a short walk from Sans Souci. While staying at Sans Souci we also took day trips to other great ski locations around Grachen such as Zermatt, Saas Fee and Crans-Montana. In short: perfect location - perfect skiing!

Perfect Place in a nice Ski Area

We stayed here for a week with a family of 5. The appartment was perfectly OK. Nice fireplace, balcony etc. The appartment feels like your home really quick. Good acces to the village. Grächen is a nice little skiresort. But the big resort of Zermatt, is just an hour away, with bus and rail.
