Description of the Graeagle vacation cabin rental

The lodge is fairly small, we have just 12 cabins that we rent out. We have two two-bedroom cabins, seven one-bedroom cabins and three tent cabins to be used as an extra room, or rented alone. The one and two-bedroom cabins each have a private bathroom and have at least a queen size bed.

We provide all of the meals for you. Dinner and Breakfast are served to you in our Dining Room, and the fixings for a trail lunch are set out for you during breakfast. If you take a look at our rate sheet, the meals are included in the prices.

All of the lakes are swimmable, and except for the smallest, they all have trout in them. For entertainment at the lodge, we have ping-pong and volleyball outside, as well as a Recreation Hall with lots of games, card tables and a comfortable sitting area. We usually have a campfire after dinner, and we provide the s'mores!

Area Information

Gold Lake Lodge is a peaceful family resort in the mountains. Trails lead off directly from the lodge, and the nearest lake is a short ten minute walk. The ten lakes that make up the Lakes Basin are all in a roadless area, so you won't be disturbed by a passing car. But, if you're interested in taking a drive, there are over a dozen other lakes you can drive to as well.

If you are looking for a family get-together, Gold Lake Lodge can help you renew those family ties in a mountain setting, with activities the whole clan will enjoy. One of the favorite pastimes of our guests is horseback riding. Heading out from the nearby Gold Lake Stables, you can visit two or more lakes in the space of a morning. Everyone looks forward to group hikes, with easy trails and lakes close by. Ping-pong, cards, and board games allow grandparents and grandchildren time to bond. No TV to interfere with your special vacation. And no one has to cook! Bring your family reunion to the Lakes Basin.

Gold Lake Lodge is the perfect spot for your group to meet for a family reunion, business seminar, or small, corporate retreat.
Instead of a cramped, stuffy room in a impersonal hotel, you can rent a whole lodge with all of your meals included. Two large buildings have the space you need to spread out in individual discussion groups or activities, and the chairs under the massive fir trees covering the grounds allow for personal reflection. After the meetings, the participants can hike the many trails in the area, fish the various lakes, golf the nearby golf courses, or just relax on the grounds. The Lodge will accommodate up to 35 people, so it works well for a small, intimate group.
