Description of the Granada vacation cottage rental
Molino Malagon has been recently restored in a contemporary rustic stlye. The spacious accommodation offers 2 en-suite bedrooms and a large open plan living area, comprising kitchen, dining space and lounge. The mill which is off the beaten track, sits in its own secluded grounds and has easy access to the river San Juan which runs around the boundary of the propert offering peace and tranquillity to its guests.Molino malagon is a pleasant stroll from the village of Sabariego which has a couple of bars and a shop for basic provisions. The vibrant towns of Alcala la Real and Alcaudete are a short drive away, both having magnificent medieval hilltop castles and a wide range of shopping and dining opportunities. The mill is ideal placed for exploring the beautiful cultural cities of Granada and Cordoba.
Area Description
The mill sits in a valley surrounded by hills and olive groves. Outside the cottage there is a terrace with dining table, chairs and parasol plus loungers for relaxing.The mill sits within an acre of land containing a number of fruit trees, including figs, pomegranates and almonds and a wooded dingle within the grounds offers additional and much welcome shade from the midday heat. The river San Juan flows around the grounds and steps lead down to the river which provides an opportunity to cool off,(it's deep enough to take a dip) relax or explore.
The surrounding hillside offers lots of walking and bird watching opportunities for those that wish to explore the country side and for culture lovers the cities of Granada and Cordoba are a sight to behold. Granada is 1 hours drive and Cordoba 1 hour and 15 minutes. The mountains of the Sierra Nevada and the coast are within easy reach.
Riverside location, less than 1 mile from the nearest village and 5 miles to the nearest town which has plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a very pleasant swimming pool for children and adults.
