Description of the Grand Lake vacation cabin rental
This lovely 3 bedroom home sits on the 7th tee box of the Grand lake Golf Course in Grand Lake. This is a perfect summer golfer get-away with 3 bedrooms, a murphy bed in the family room, and an additional bunk bed in the semi-finished furnace room (bottom bunk is a double and the top is a single). The couches are also comfy, if you have guests that won't go home. The large back deck has a beautiful bar and 4 chairs as well as a large picnic table; and the oversized gas grill completes the "outdoor" living room. A backyard fire pit has been built 12 feet from the deck for roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories. The kitchen has a self cleaning flat top stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. There is a wood burning stove in the kitchen; fireplace in the family room, and all the wood you need is split and stacked. Kitchen comes complete with all you need to prepare and serve any meal for 12 people. Jet tub in the upstairs bath, 1/2 bath on the main floor with a washer and dryer, and a full bath on the lower level. TV's with cable in every bedroom and TV with DVD player and VCR player in the family room. Full selection of over 250 movies in DVD and VCR movie collection. This is a perfect get-away just minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park, golf, swimming,boating, hiking, cross country skiing (downhill is in Silver Creek or Winter Park). The wildlife is spectacular!!!!
This home is backed up to the Grand Lake Golf Course. Arapahoe National Forest is on one side, the Rocky Mountain National Park on the other side, and the three lakes are in front; Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Lake Granby. These lakes are a fisherman's dream!! This home is in Columbine Lake Country Club subdivision, and there is a private lake within the subdivision. Summer is filled with hiking, fishing, golfing, and enjoying the wildlife. The winter months are a snowmobilers dream. Grand Lake is the snowmobile capital of the world!! It has more than 400 miles of groomed trails. Bring your own snowmobiles or they can be rented in town. The golf course turns into a cross country ski resort with groomed trails of various degrees of difficulty, and it is right out the back door! The town of Grand Lake is a treasure of music, plays, wonderful restaurants and activities.

There is an indoor pool, sauna and club house in Columbine Subdivision. Guests may use for a small charge per person. The private late is great fishing in the summer and fun snowmobiling in the winter.
