Grand Escape

A beautiful 5000 sq. ft.log home structure with lake view, built in 2005 with all updated immenities. The kitchen is fully equiped with all appliances and double oven. Seating for 6 at table, 4 at bar and two in kitchen, and all dishes you could need. There are three seperate entertainment rooms with big screen t.v.'s and all have satellite access and DVD players. We have two beautiful gas fireplaces for your enjoyment, and a theatre setting in the basement. It has a beautiful master suite with a king size bed, jaccuzi tub with t.v. and seperate shower with two sink areas, and it's own t.v. in bed area. It is a very relaxing area and hard to leave. The four other rooms all have queen size beds and their own bath. In the upper bonus area (5th bedroom) there are also two futons that will convert to queen size bed sleeping area. A pack n' play is available for the little ones as well. All linens and towels are supplied along with other quilts and pillows for extra use. We've supplied many games and movies for your entertainment.
There is an extra refrigerator in the garage for guest use and laundry area with laundry soap provided, as well.
You can expect all spices, flour, sugar, some coffee, trash bags and paper towels, as well as other baking needs to be available for you. All bathrooms will have toilet paper, shampoo, soap, and hair dryers for guest use. We hope to minimize the initial stress of arrival by making sure you have what you need for the 'first morning' and giving you time to settle in. There are cleaning products available for daily upkeep and laundry soap for guest use. They're will be a $75 fee for our items replacement cost.

We are located just off of Shadow Mountain Lake which offers gorgeous views and sunsets. We are also close to the spillway which flows into the Colorado River it offers fishing and great hiking trails. Lake Granby is minutes away and offers ice fishing in winter and sailing in summer. There is a boat dock a short jaunt away at the Greenridge Campground, you can acctually watch the boat or jetskis on the lake from the back deck. We are in the heart of snowmobiling country with 150 miles of groomed trails. Winter Park or Granby Ranch skiing is also close, approximately 30 min to Granby Ranch. Our great little town of Grand Lake offers some quaint restaurants and snomobile rental about 12 min away on Hwy. 34.
We enjoy all kinds of wildlife like moose, elk, ospry, fox, bear, big horn sheep and other creatures.
Trail riding, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobliling, golf, fishing, ice fishing, wind surfing, sailing are all very close. Other activities can be found in the towns of Granby and Grand Lake.
There is a large grocery store in Granby that will be helpful for all food needs, as well two small markets in Grand Lake.
