This was the best way to spend a vacation with family. The views are beautiful and the house itself was wonderful. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

July 21, 2014

This was a very nice home in a great location. The facilities were well kept and the communication with the owner was prompt and clear. Lots of wildlife to see and easy walking to wonderful hiking trails. Highly recommended for future vacations if we return to the area.

This home is awesome! We had a wonderful time. The owners were wonderful to work with and made you feel at home from the moment you arrived! Breakfast supplies were definitely a bonus. Perfect place for a Christmas getaway. Each of the bedrooms has it's own private bathroom, which was great for each of the individual families. The large kitchen area was especially nice for cooking meals. The views are spectacular and everything you could want to do is close by. The town of Grand Lake has some quaint little shops with everything you can imagine. Best Christmas ever!!

Great log cabin, very comfortable beds, wonderful fireplaces. Beautiful lake views. Front and back porches are very comfortable with rockers and plenty of seating. The home is beautifully decorated. One of the nicest rentals we have seen. We would definitely stay here again.

Our Mini Family Reunion Labor Day Weekend

September 9, 2010

Our family comes from all over Colorado to enjoy a mini-family reunion in the Grand Lake area every year since 2005, so this was our 6th annual. This is absolutely without a doubt the BEST place we have ever stayed. The house is very spacious, immaculate, plenty of sleeping quarters & bedding, more than enough dishes/pans/silverware plus a super kitchen in which to cook! The little ones LOVED the extra cubbies as well as the bonus room. OH! and the bathrooms (6) made it so much easier for 16 of us. Plus, the view from the deck to the lake--extraordinary! The deck is so large it's like having an additional room. Also, you can walk down to the lake easily, even with little ones. And, the owners have taken care of their trees so lots of privacy. OH, the first pit is wonderful too!! We plan to come back here next year- it was unanimous! Everyone wants to book it right now, even the couple who is moving to California...

First class all the way

August 10, 2010

This cabin is amazing. It is soo much more wonderful than the pictures show. Everything is first class and done well. The view is spectacular. The room above the garage is perfect for my boys. The movie room was wonderful with all the leather sofas. The master bedroom opens up to the large spacious deck. What more could we ask for.

We arrived to a very clean and well stocked home with a beautiful view of the lake. We had a boat and jet ski with us the marina was witnin walking distance, people at the marina were very accomadating and helpful. There were 6 adults and 8 children from the ages of 17 to 3, the bunk bead room was fabulous the kids loved it. Plenty of room for people to eat, nice fire pit. We would definitely rent this home again.

Dream Getaway

November 4, 2008

We stayed at this breathtaking home and had a dream weekend getaway in the Rocky Mountains. There are so many amazing amenities it is hard to know where to start. We enjoyed the large gas fireplace on the main level, a kitchen to die for, beds more comfortable than my own, the beautiful view and the cozy feel that made you feel right at home. I would recommend this home to any and everyone.

This is one incredible place to stay! Beautifully hand crafted, with quality furnishing, heated hardwood and tile floors, 2 beautiful open gas fireplaces and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could dream of to serve and cook with. This mountain home has phenomenal AV equipment for all entertainment interests. We stayed with 7 adult and 5 children and with all the square footage, bedrooms, bonus room, family rooms and individual baths we NEVER felt crowded. The breathtaking views from the deck are relaxing and inspiring and has great rocking chairs on the front porch! The master bedroom is your best dream with a bed that's like sleeping on a cloud, a big jetted bathtub with a TV to watch as you relax and a multihead messaging shower! This is a place to make memories and to return to over and over!

Amazing Escape

October 28, 2008

Breathtaking cabin from the moment we drove up. Beautiful details from the curved stairs to the custom doors. Our daughthers loved the hidden cubbies in the upstairs bedroom for sleep and play. Great views of Shadow Mountain Lake and the mountains beyond. Comfy couches and chairs on every level that are great for relaxing and hanging out. Loved the gas fireplace in the great room. Gourmet kitchen made it fun to cook and hang out with everyone at the same time. Truly amazing place for our extended family to get away for the weekend.
