Aside from all of the water activities, there is so much more to do on Monkey Island. Monkey Island is considered the hub of Grand Lake's nightlife. You will find great restaurants, (some you arrive to by boat), and live club entertainment. Whether hiking a
nature trail is your thing, ... or shopping for antiques, or ... horseback riding, or.. spending your day in a health and beauty spa, ... or playing a round of golf at one of the two 18 hole champion-ship golf courses, you will find it here on Monkey Island ! Since the island is only 7 miles long and between 1 and 3 miles wide, everything is close by ... within walking distance or a very short ride!

Beautiful place to stay! We spent lots of time sitting on the deck relaxing. If you are taking a boat, be warned....we were told there was a boat dock very, very close. This was not the case at all. We had several cars there and parking was a bit of an issue. If I was planning another trip to Grand Lake, I would definatly stay here again. Its beautiful!

WE had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and sits on a bluff overlooking the water. I watched humming birds every morning and every evening. The lake was beautiful with a lot of activities, such as boating, para-sailing and jet skis. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.
