Description of the Grants Pass vacation home rental

Welcome to Eight-Oaks River Estate. Eight-Oaks is located on what is known as the lake portion of the Rogue River 20 miles from Medford, 7 miles from Grants Pass, and 1 mile from the city of Rogue River.
We are approximately 2 mile up river from the Savage Rapids Dam and have a private boat dock. Ski-boats and jet skis can be launched at Savage Rapids Park, which is by the dam; swimming and picnicking are
also available there.

The 2,300 sq. ft. two bedroom unit covers the complete upstairs with the garage and 750 sq. ft. studio unit downstairs. The two bedroom unit has a den and a family room. The family room looks out over the Rogue River and has a gas fireplace. Looking out the windows of the den, you are faced with the mountains and the many fruit trees growing in the front of the property. Help yourself to fresh fruit in season. All new
furniture, beds, and linens.

Required Stay: 2 nights
Lodging Tax: 10
Deposits: 1/2 Rental fees ($200 minimum)due at booking,balance due 30 days before arrival. $400 security/cleaning, due 30 days before arrival.
Other Fees: Nightly rates are for 1-4. There is an extra $10 per night per additional guest. Holidays are charged at summer rates.

Perfect family vacation., June 24, 2008

We have 4 children that range in age from 6-17, so finding something to do to please everyone can be a challenge. Not here! We fished, hiked, toured the nearby little towns, movies, and my 9 year old caught a 20 pound spring chinnook that made his vacation!! The view from the deck is gorgous and very peaceful we ate most of our meals out there. The house was clean, well stocked, and had more than enough room for our family and could of easily had four more. The backyard is beautifully landscaped yet still very kid friendly. The dock on the river was great also we fished, feed the ducks, and just enjoyed the view. This was truly a perfect family vacation!! We will stay here again. Thank you.

We rented Eight Oaks for three nights over Christmas. We have family in the area and did not want to motel it. My were we surprised when for less than the price of a motel (for 4 adults), we stayed in this spacious, comfort-able, clean, convenient home. The view of the river was tranquil and a big plus! We saw pictures on the internet but you really have to see this to understand how much you will enjoy it! Can't wait to come back in the summer and rent the whole unit. Thank you!!!
