Located just minutes from Historic Grass Valley, the Nevada County Fairgrounds, the Empire State Mine, and Nevada City with easy access to Highway 49. Enjoy local wine tasting and tours, music festivals, live theater, day spas, or a 1 1/2 hour drive to Sacramento, Lake Tahoe or Reno, NV. This newer 600 sq. ft., fully furnished, apartment is an independent unit with it's own entrance from the main house. This spacious apartment offers a full kitchen, granite counter tops, sleeper sofa in living room space, queen bed in bedroom, bathroom with shower and bamboo flooring throughout. UTILITIES INCLUDED. Linens provided, off street parking, Flat screen TV/DVD, WIFI (wireless), BBQ grill, patio, & Campfire ring. Rate: $350wk/$1000month Sorry, no smoking. Host on site. 2 night minimum. Pet friendly. Stairs to apartment (can be viewed in campfire patio photo).

My husband is a traveling physical therapist. We move every three months and we have lived in MULTIPLE rental units. Lynn and Randy's was by far the best place we have stayed. Lynn and Randy are so friendly and helpful. They were so amazing to us and our dog and treated us like family!!! We could not have dreamed of better hosts if we wanted to. The next time we are in the area this is the only place we will stay. Thank you Lynn and Randy for a great stay in Grass Valley. Jeff, Hillary and Max.

You simply will not find a nicer accomodation anywhere...especially if you have a dog. The unit is spacious, luxurious, isolated from the main unit upstairs and full of unexpected amenities like a gas fired BBQ and private deck. Lynn and Randy could not be more gracious and helpful. Sitting on the deck overlooking the landscaped side yard and back yard full of pine trees, birds, and other creatures large and small was one of the most relaxing experiences of our traveling lives. We would return in a flash. Oh- the peacock is spectacular and it flies.

We just spent a very fun and relaxing week at Pine Acre Apts. Lynn and Randy were very helpful, They've been in the area long enough to know the ropes but still have that newbie enthusiasm for all of the great opportunities for delight in the gold country. Randy even taught me to pan gold and is thinking of putting in a small demonstration set up for gold diggers soon. Lucky you. Coco was very friendly and the apt was great- brand new but warmly decorated so it didn't feel like motel room. The location is in the woods but minutes away from Grass Valley and Nevada City. I would recommend this to anyone.

Lynn and Randy's apartment was such a lovely retreat! My boyfriend and I visited over the long Memorial Day weekend. The apartment was just as pictured, cozy and comfortable. The location was very convenient, close to Grass Valley, Nevada City, and we even drove to Tahoe to go hiking one day. We came home to a fire that Randy built for us outside. Lynn and Randy were warm hosts. I would highly recommend their place for a retreat.

I stayed at the Pine Acres apartment for the weekend to check out Grass Valley and Nevada City. The apartment was quite comfortable and modern with all of the amenities. The garden outside the apartment is quite lovely and was visited by an array of beautiful birds. When I was packing up the car to leave, I was even visited by the famous peacock! Lynn and Randy are gracious hosts and told me where I could hear some local music on Friday night. Their apartment is an exceptional value (equivalent to a 3 or 4 star hotel), and I would definitely visit them again if I am back in the area. I've already told a couple of friends about it.
