Yes, we stayed here 2 summers ago and the you do not get what you pay for!!!!! Upon arrival we found that our lakefront cottage not only was not lakefront but had no lake view from the cottage. You must walk down through a path into the neighbors property to access or see lake. Property is not Lakeview of Lakefront but had lake access. Also the beach is not only shared by one another house but you only have access to a small part of the beach not whole beach as shown in advertised pictures! Dock was shared by all. We tried to find other accommodations on the day we arrived but it was impossible at the last minute. Owners offered full refund as Ad is clearly misleading. We had scheduled vaca time and son-in-law in military so re-scheduling vaca was out of question. I asked for partial refund after our one weeks stay(we actually left one day early out of frustration) but NEVER received response from owners. I would recommend traveling extra time up Maine to get LAKEFRONT property for price of this cottage. Actual cottage clean and well kept. Would stay again for about $300 less than paid!!!!!
