Description of the Grayton Beach vacation home rental
WE purchased this house in 2000 and this is the first time it has been listed for rent. We just don't get to use it as much as we would like. This is a good "ole home place". Nothing fancy, just spacious and gracious. Fenced in back yard for children and pets. Plenty of comfy furniture and room to spread out. Great screened in back porch for dining and relaxing. Walk 1 block and you are at the beach! It has EVERYTHING you need for a great vacation!!!!!!!!!!

Also: The house next door is available for adjoining groups.

Close to Perfect

March 19, 2009

This house was rented with a lot of nail biting because we were vacationing with two other families and lots of little kids to keep happy. It far exceeded our expectations in every way. The backyard was large and private. Great large porch to hang out on and eat. Pool is great to have when the beach was too windy. Furnishings are nothing fancy to worry about but a little quirky and definitely cool - perfect "laid back at the beach" style. We cook a lot and the kitchen is well stocked. There are two living rooms which came in handy. And the garage was nice to keep the beach stuff out of the house. Only downsides were a slight plumbing problem which didn't really cause any inconvenience, the carpet could stand to be updated - but then you'd lose the some of the child friendly aspect, and we went on Thunder on the Beach week, so there were lots of noisy motorcycles but the kids thought it was great! Got two big thumbs up from the entire group.
