Roomy home in a tranquil setting on 1 3/4 acres. It's roomy and comfortable with a cedar porch with comfortable wicker furniture where you can sit and watch the local wildlife. Also a sun room inside the house where you can sit and watch the wildlife or just relax. The large master bath has a jacuzzi. It has 8 rooms plus 3 baths and a laundry area. Large enough so you won't be on top of each other. Also, has a deck where you can BBQ or just sit in the sun.
Close to the outdoor Philharmonic concerts at Tanglewood,summer ballet at Jacobs Pillow and lots of theatres. Also lots of antiquing and wonderful restaurants,shopping and hiking in the area. Minutes away from a small lake with a swimming area with a lifeguard on duty in summer.
Close to 3 major ski areas--cross country as well as downhill. Sit in the sun room and watch the wildlife or just sit by a warm fire in the family room in the winter
and relax after a hard day of skiing

Great Barrington is a wonderful 4 season area. In the winter there are 3 large ski resorts nearby--Butternut, Catamount, Jimminy Peak. In the summer months there is Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, Shakespeare & Co. and lots of theatre productions. All year round there are incredible antique shops and shopping of all sorts, restaurants and night life. There is nothing missing in this area.
