This lovely country home is located in Santa Gertrudis, Costa Rica about 4km from the center of Grecia. Come and enjoy the wonderful country atmosphere of this marvelous small country village. It is a step back in time with out the use of a time machine. Enjoy the wonderful updated conveniences while yet enjoying the quaint atmosphere of days gone by.
Sit on the front porch of this lovely country home and enjoy the sounds of rushing water being played the wonderful melodies of over 60 species of birds and a Rooster that does not know he is suppose to crow in the morning and early afternoon.. Look just across the river you will see coats and cows.
Enjoy the fruits from about 5 different tropical fruit trees; enjoy all the comforts of home.

Area Description
Santa Gertrudis is about 20km west of the Volcano Poas. The climate is spring like, with warm days with nice breezes, and evenings fresh cool evening .
Santa Gertruidis is a quiet small country town with local stores. It is a short bus ride to the center of Grecia. In the area there is a resturant and a few small snack bars, called Sodas in Costa Rica.
This is a safe and quiet community. Wonderful for getting to know about Costa Ricans and their customes. This home is in a nice neighborhood with people that are friendly and willing to help you get comfortable.
The bus transportation into town is great, horseback riding and hicking are some of the favorite activities. This town is located about two hours from the beach, and close to other tourist attractions, such as Sarchi, La Garita, San Ramon and Athenas

Jeanetta and Charles we want to thank you for such a nice time. This house was just what we needed, close to the city but yet in the country. You made us feel relaxed and right at home. I was thrilled to see how well equiped your kitchen was. With great cooking utensils and a great supply of towels for the bathrooms. It was an extra plus to have maid service provided. Thanks for paying such close attention to detail. Bill and I will return again soon.
