Description of the Green Island vacation guesthouse rental
Situated on a hill and set in extensive private grounds, Harding Hall House is a rustic, two bedroom independent property, benefiting from a private outdoor swimming pool. Less than a mile inland from Green Island Bay, this charming house is just an hour's drive from Montego Bay and only fifteen minutes by car to the famous seven miles of Negril's white beaches.
Back to nature but with the comforts of home it is a private property suitable for one or two couples, a small group of friends,a writer or a family of four looking for a tranquil and unspoilt rural retreat. The covered verandah which looks out onto lush, green countryside runs around the house and provides an outdoor living space equipped with dining table and chairs, hammocks, a sofa and easy chairs. Inside, there are two bedrooms, a kitchen with gas stove and fridge freezer, and a shower room with basin, w.c. and shower.
Prices include accommodation, all amenities, welcome pack and maid service.
Services of a cook and transport to and from Montego Bay airport can be arranged at additional cost.
I spent a beautiful 10 days here at Harding Hall and can not say enough good things about the place. First I would like to say that if you are looking for a relaxing and private get away this is the place for you. The house was comfortable and clean, but my favorite is the wrap around verandah. The grounds and wildlife are incredible and let's not forget the inground pool, always clean and refreshing and the mango trees are not far from it. How many people do you know can say they sat at the pool all day eating fresh mangos? I never worried about my safety. The house is completely surrownded by a fence and Nell (grounds keeper) always shut the gate at the end of the drive way at night. All of the staff is very friendly and easy going. Without them Harding Hall would not have been as enjoyable for me. Hilary, Cass and Nell all provide great friendships, advice about the culture and great places to visit, take the time to get to know them. I visit Jamaica often and have stayed at several different places but can truly say now have found my home away from home.

We had a wonderful time here and didn't want to leave. Comfortable rooms, fantatstic views and a truly relaxing break for us. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the children loved going down the hill to play on the swing. Can't wait to come back!

Had a holiday of a lifetime, wonderful meals by Miss Cassie and friendly advice of places to see/eat/visit from Miss Hilary, I understand cheaper than hotel rates!!! Will definitely be back in a couple of years!! Beautiful, warm, inviting, friendly home - a credit to the property owner and her wonderful staff!!
