It is surrounded by tall pine trees and just steps from the lakes clear water. You can go fishing for Bass, Lake Trout, Salmon, swimming, paddling, boating or simply taking in the sights and sounds of nature. This lake is home to loons, osprey, bald eagles, bass, otter, deer, and the occasional moose. Great trails wind through the heavily wooded area, which is teeming with wildlife and delicious wild blueberries.

On site you can swim, fish, paddleboat, take nature walks, sunbathe, relax with a good book, play a mean game of cribbage, the list goes on and on... Acadia National Park is 45 minutes. Bangor, and the International Airport, is 30 minutes. Ellsworth, Blue Hill and Bucksport are equally close. Fine dining at the Lucerne Inn is only 15 minutes away. Lie on the dock and bask in the sunshine. Paddle the canoe, swim in perhaps the cleanest water you will ever see. The house faces north and catches the sun until late afternoon. Hike Bald Mountain, five minutes away, and see all the way to the ocean or Mt. Katahdin. Take a long walk or bike ride along country roads. There are plenty of places to explore. Bring home some lobsters and cook them at the house, or grill a nice piece of salmon. Enjoy a quiet evening on the deck, listening to the calls of the resident loon.
