Area Information

The Greater Greensboro Area is the epicenter of the Piedmont Triad - a dynamically growing, beautiful place to visit on vacation, live fulltime or keep a second home for those who flee from northern winters! Wonderful cultural and natural delights abound in this area, plus you have easy access to the Appalachian Mountains and the Coast of North Carolina. Fine restaurants, world class golfing, ACC sports, the International Home Furnishings Market and The Eastern Music Festival.

We are home to several outstanding Universities and Colleges - this area offers world class musical events (such as The Eastern Music Festival at Guilford College.)

Greensboro's history includes a pivotal site in the dawn of the Civil Rights Movement in America. The original downtown Woolworth's lunch counter is now in the process of becoming a civil rights museum.

Greensboro's downtown district is experiencing a renaissance and is quite a lively place for music, food, galleries, etc, especially on the weekends. Our property is approximately 10 minutes from downtown Greensboro (yet a world away!)

Our lovely home and surrounding property: Our photos tell it the best - this home is located in a gorgeous southern hardwood forest, and the river hosts all kinds of beautiful and fascinating plants and animals. This is a birder's paradise, as well as those who seek tranquility and privacy for rest and rejuvenation with all the joys of a vibrant center of culture & commerce just minutes away.

Deposits: If staying one-three weeks, the refundable security deposit is $950. If staying a month or longer, the refundable security/damage deposit is $1,900.
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
Other Fees: The cleaning fee of $75 for a one week (the minimum) stay. Tenancy exceeding one week requires a $150 cleaning fee. Pet fee is $200 and is non-refundable. Minimum booking is the weekly rate of $950. Additional nights may be added for the rate of $150/night.

The home was convenient in location, relaxing and well equipped with needed items. We had a few questions after arriving and they were answered quickly and completely. I would consider renting again - perhaps in summer so the acreage would be in bloom.

If you 're looking for an option other than a hotel, we would recommend this house! The property is secluded enough that we saw deer one day and duck enjoying a swim in the "back yard" river another day. It's an easy, manageable drive to downtown Greensboro if needed. The house is charming, comfortable and clean. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature!

This is a thoroughly delightful dwelling in an idyllic setting. We felt as if we were in the deep woods and yet we were only 5 minutes from the freeway. We golfed, walked the neighborhood, watched deer and songbirds and tramped through the woods The property size is 13 acres. The kitchen is very well set up and we enjoyed the deck and balcony when weather cooperated.
