Moosehead Cabin

At the risk of bringing so many people to this bit of heaven and not having weeks available for returning "customers," I have to say that this is a beautiful place to stay. It was spotless when we got there, and so homey. It really felt like it was ours. The scenery is perfect, the location is perfect, and, although it rained a good bit of the time we were there, it didn't matter. Loons at night, Moose in the evening, ducks all the time....a veritable wildlife paradise.

Our honeymoon to Greenville Maine was great! Everything we were looking for. We were told it rained the whole week prior and rain is coming now that we are leaving. We are probably blind by love, but the week was perfect! We enjoyed each other and the beauty that Maine has to offer. Not sure if we would bring our daughter with us for a family vacation, but if you are able to come with someone you love, you will not regret it. Being from Ohio, Centeral Ohio, Maine almost doesn't feel real.

Fantastic to sit on the dock on these moonless nights and see the milky way shinning right down to the horrizion with the coyotes calling in the distance!! This is our second visit to New England. The last one was 15 years ago. We didn't plan to leave it so long till our next visit. If all goes well, we hope to be back in northern Maine next year! Thanks Heather and Family. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the awesome cabin for our vacation.It was beautiful and your advise for getting a SUV as a rental was right on.Without it we would not have been able to see all of the beauty that Maine has to offer.Eventhough it rained everyday and we never once put the canoe in the water,we drove to several areas sight seeing and hiking in the rain.
I am so happy we picked your place for our vacation,rain or shine it was awesome and we will be back again.
I hope all was well with the cabin,we left you a note regarding a couple minor repairs but no complaints from us on anything.We even saw 17 Moose.Greenville is awesome and the people are so nice,the man at the gas station @ Indian Hill even stood in the rain with me while I pumped gas talking like we were old friends.
I will highly recommend your place to others.

We has such a great time watching the leaves turn and the sunsets across the water and mountains- Natures many blessings- The chipmunks teasing each other. (I wish our kids played together this nicely!!) The loons calling to me right off the deck.. A great trip was complete when Michael and the kids saw the moose. We will return- no doubt!! We reccomend staying in and loving the slow life with your sweetie. Favorite moments: seeing the American Flag on the dock, the fireplace, exploring the cabin, loving and laughing together.
