Lower Wilson covers 1,380 acres with a depth of up to 106 feet centered around Rum Mountain and overshadowed by the Scammon Ridge and Elephant mountains. A narrows connects the Lower and Upper Wilson Ponds. Both ponds are fished for brook trout, lake trout, and land locked salmon.
