We were so impressed with the location and how secluded it really was. We enjoyed so much peace of no traffic and no neighbors which is something that we had been looking for for a long time. The cottage was set up so beautiful and had everything for you in it. We have had the best few nights sleep in a very long while. We liked that we werent too far from town and all the waters to kayak in. We went to Kokadjo for a day, Lilly Bay for a day, Prong Pond for a day and then we checked out our old camping area OLD MILL and paddled from there to Mt Kineo for a day. I have been going to the Moosehaed region since I was a little kid and we plan on trying to retire to that area in the future. It was very easy to book and lots cheaper then anyting else around for more bang for your buck. The Dingers replied to all my emails fast and followed thru with everything promised. We will keep this in mind again for sure. If the dog policy ever changes that would be great as well as my dog was very lonely when we got home and he would have loved the area as well. Thanks again for making our vacation away from home like being at home. Peaceful Paradise

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for - mainly peaceful and quiet. The cabin itself was great. It was clean, modern, with plenty of room. And the views of the surrounding mountains and woods were just beautiful. We hope to come back.

This is our third time staying at this cabin so obviously we love coming here. It is actually more like a home with all the amenities but in the peaceful woods of Maine. It is very cozy. We were disappointed there was no snow, but we hiked, spent time in town visiting the quaint interesting shops. Very relaxing time !

Very nice cottage-more like a home. Great open floor plan, lots of sleeping space, TV reception not great, but there are many movies to watch and books to read. Can't want for anything here!! Off the main road, very quiet, with lots of woods. Would highly recommend this place.

Comfortable and cozy house that heated up real quiick. Easy access to snomobile trails plus stores and restaurants. Gas grill was a bonus as we used it often. Plenty of wildlife from moose to birds. Had a great time and would rent it again. Nice views of the mountains.

Convenient to Greenville center, Lily Bay State Park, and Beaver Cove Marina, this spacious, modern cabin provides all the comforts of home in a quiet, secluded location. The price is very reasonable in comparison to other accommodations in the area.

We were throughly pleased with the cabin. It was beautifully decorated and furnished. We loved the quiet peacful setting. We only stayed for a couple of days but would love to make a return trip. (Next time we will stay longer :)

A great place to spend a week away from it all. This cabin had everything we look for in a vacation spot and then some. Those luxury resorts have nothing on this place. We hope to return next year to do many of the things we just didn't have time for this year.

Tony thanks ever so much! We were there for a month and a half. Finally saw the cow and her calf in the back yard. Your place was so very cozy, peaceful, and a home away from home. Anyone reading this, this is the place to stay, dont look any longer, book it. We looked at so many places to rent before we found his, there is no better place. Spend a wonderful week at the North Wood Cottage.Very nicely furnished and well kept. Quit and relaxing yet close to whatever Moosehead Lake offers. Thinking about going back there next year.

Great place to visit, amazing views, the cabin was perfect. Awoke to moose playing in the yard--just a few feet from the bedroom window. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Can't wait to go back and stay a bit longer.
