4BR lake VIEW house overlooking Greer's Ferry Lake in the scenic Arkansas Ozarks. Two Level, 4 BR, 2 BA house, 2,114 sq. ft heated/cooled. Full Kitchen, view of the lake from both levels. The layout of this house is perfect for two families to rent together and still have privacy. You will be pleased with the big, wide view of the lake that offers views of boats, jet skiing, fishermen, the beach, and boat ramps at Devil's Fork Recreation area. Just outside your back door is a large main level deck with table and chairs perfect for entertaining, sunning or lounging. Covered patio downstairs has a bench swing and table/chairs perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee. This is a fully furnished home with a queen size pillow top bed in the master bedroom, and 1 queen and 2 full size beds in the downstairs bedrooms. Downstairs also has its own bathroom and family room with 2 love seats, sofa and patio w/swing, table and 4 chairs. Each family room has a t.v. on Dish Network satellite. No local network channels are available. Devil's Fork Rec area is just across the bridge with beaches, boat ramps, etc.

Boats: Please note that the driveway is very steep on one side and difficult to maneuver boats in and out of with very little storage. We suggest you rent a boat slip at Lacey's Narrows Marina (4 miles from house) for $20.00 per night or at Fairfield Bay Marina (12 miles from house) for $17.00 per night. They both have websites for more information. You can also rent boats from these 2 marinas.

Only CLEAN, PEST FREE, TRAINED pets are allowed inside the house, no exceptions!

Please be aware that the house is not baby/child proof and there are stairs.

Free wireless internet access is available at the library at Greers Ferry located at 8249 Edgemont Rd. Call for hours of operation. Free wireless 24 hrs a day in front of the Fairfield Bay/Wyndham check in center located at 369 Dave Creek Dr. They also provide area information brochures/maps inside.

We are located near Janssen's Lake Front Restaurant (Excellent Sun Brunch Buffet), Bentley's Restaurant (Great Seafood Buffet), M & R Country Kitchen, El Gefe Mexican Restaurant, J.R.'s Hickory House, Daylight Donuts, Sonic, Subway. There are others down at Fairfield Bay about 7 miles from the house.

The Family Market grocery store is nearby, but if you're buying a lot you may want to go to a national chain before coming to Greers Ferry.

RENTER MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD TO RENT. MAXIMUM total occupancy 8 people. All occupants under 21 must be accompanied by an adult 25 years or older.

Rent by the week @ $900 or by the day @ $140 (two night minimum/3 night minimum on federal holiday weekends). We can accommodate one night rentals if you pay a $75 cleaning fee. $1,600/Monthly rate.

Early birds get 2010 rates for 2011 if you book before December 31, 2010. Small rate increase Jan 1, 2011.

The city of Greers Ferry borders magnificent Greers Ferry Lake which is 42 miles long with 40,000 acres of pristine water and 360 miles of shoreline on one of the cleanest lakes in America. The closest marina is Lacey's Marina which offers boat slips, fishing boats, pontoon boat rentals, and jet ski rentals, see their web info. Fairfield Bay Marina also offers boat rentals, party barges, fishing guides and rental equipment at its 357-slip, both are full-service marinas. The nearest boat launch is just over the bridge about 1 mile at Devil's Fork Recreational Area. We are located directly across from the weigh in facility during tournaments.

At Greer's Ferry Lake, you will enjoy the best water-skiing and fishing available. Great golf courses are just a short drive away at Fairfield Bay as well as other activities including boating, swimming, camping, picnicking, scuba diving, water skiing, sight seeing. There is hiking at Fairfield Bay and on a developed nature trail winding up Sugar Loaf Mountain, now an island in Greer's Ferry Lake, boat required for access. One of the most popular fishing and floating streams in Arkansas, the lower Little Red River flows from the base of Greers Ferry Dam near the town of Heber Springs to eventually merge with the White River at the Hurricane Lake Wildlife Management Area, just east of Searcy. The chief reason for its popularity is trout - thousands and thousands of which are stocked in the stream on a regular basis. Good scenery and convenient access also work in the river's favor. Area attractions include Blanchard Springs Caverns, the Ozark Folk Center, Oaklawn Horse racing track in Rockwell, and of course, the entertainment of Branson, Missouri is only 2-1/2 hours north.

There are 3 charcoal grills, but if they aren't cleaned to your liking then you'll need to clean it or not use it. We do ask that everyone be courteous to the next renter and clean the grill after they use it.

• Deposits: Security deposit of $200 is required to hold your reservation. Upon arrival the security deposit is converted to a damage deposit. We must receive a signed copy of the Rental Agreement along with the security deposit to confirm your reservation. Once the deposit and agreement are received your dates are officially reserved. We can also process your payments via Paypal if you pay an additional $10.00 fee to cover part of the Paypal fees charged to us.
   
• Other Fees: If you cancel more than 60+ days before scheduled check-in, your deposit/rent will be returned, less $100 cancellation fee. Monthly-stay cancellations require a 120-day notice of cancellation and bear a $250 cancellation fee. You will forfeit your security deposit plus one-half of the rent if you cancel 30-60 days before check-in (120 days for monthly stays). Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the entire rent amount, damage deposit will be returned.

The house was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend our summer vacation. We had friends in at various times, plenty of room for them and loads of privacy for us. The kitchen is fully equiped and user friendly. We are looking forward to another week or weekend. Dawn was wonderful to work with, the neighbors very nice but left you alone. Wonderful experience, I did not want to leave. Coffee on the deck in the morning looking at the lake, really hard to beat.

The home's location was great, price was excellent, and the view was beautiful. The decor was very family friendly. This was a beautiful house and the price is right. My husband and I claimed the upstairs bedroom and sent the 5 kids downstairs. I was expecting the usual lack of privacy when vacationing with the kids, but was happily surprised, that we had our own space. We did not spend time exploring Greers Ferry, but enjoyed visiting with family in the area. It was a pleasure coming back to this house every evening, and enjoying the view. Every morning I rounded up all willing children and went for a walk. It was a great work out walking up and down the hills, never knowing just how long the walk would take (going a different direction each day). I highly recommend this well cared for house for a large (up to 8) group.

This is a comfortable home for a great price. We had family come in from Monroe Louisiana for our annual vacation time together. We also had some friends come to stay. They really liked the house as well. I looked all over the web and I promise you won't find a nicer home for all the conveinences this home offers. The home is super clean with lots of room and has been well taken care of. The view of the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay so much we plan to stay a full week next year. We had 8 people in our group for our 4th of July stay and this house definitely fit our needs well. The house is very close to Lacey's Marina (which is where we rented a boat for the day of the 4th) and isn't far from other places (grocery store, Sonic, etc). We also found a great lakefront restaurant, called The Lakefront Restaurant, I believe. It was about a 1 minute drive from the house and had a great buffet brunch. The neighbors were also very nice and had a couple of cute pups. For the price and location, this house can't be beat!

I have been vacationing in this area for about 20 years. This house has one of the best views of the lake for the price. Stayed with my family and the house was very accommadating. Also it was nice to be close to town. We rented a party barge, ate at Jensens,and enjoyed sitting on the deck with the beautiful lake view.

This was an excellent house with a great view. The driveway was a little steep for a big boat but she was great to help out and we parked it next door. AC didn't cool real well, but it was like 105 outside. We loved it and had a great time. we will definatley stay again. we give it an A++++
