I like this place a lot!
I have stayed here a few times now and the place keeps getting better. The owners are cool and are around if you need them and have done a great job in making this place feel comfortable for short or long stays. It is clean and quiet and everything that you need or want is already there.

Mar 18, 2009 I am glad that we stayed at Casa Rayon rather than a hotel. It was much more private, spacious and quiet. I was greeted by two gracious hosts who were extremely helpful in recommending restaurants, shopping, hot spots and sites to see. The rooms were quiet and comfortable and filled with charming Mexican decor. I especially liked having a living room and full kitchen that added to my relaxing visit. Casa Rayon is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. I found it particularly convenient that Casa Rayon provided local and international phone service as well as a Wi-Fi internet connection. Whether you are visiting GDL for business or pleasure, Casa Rayon will give you the feel of being at home while offering the modern conveniences that you need to enjoy your trip.

Feb 22, 2009 At first thought you may be resistant to the idea of residence accommodations and be concerned that they are not as nice or somehow comfortable or private as a hotel room. I know I was but I took the leap of faith with my brother who was with me. You can be relieved with Casa Rayon and what you will find when you stay there. A side from the convenient location, the actual accommodations could not be matched unless I spent a lot more money on a suite somewhere... but even then I wouldn't have a kitchen or a second full bathroom. So when you start with your own private entrance, a spacious living room, two large private bedrooms, two brand new bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining room you see how the detail and appointments from furniture to updated yet architecturally appropriate tile floors and wall paint all set a tone for a great place. The telephone and internet service made connecting with home and work easy and stress free. But there is more... The owners truly cared about what made us happy and helped figure out how to make the most of our stay in such a unique city. Don't get me wrong, they weret in the way or intrusive, but rather available for those little pieces of advice that made the trip so much better than the random selections you would get out of a travel book or a bribed concierge. Save the hassle and cost of a over priced hotel that has less to offer and stay at Casa Rayon. You will not regret it!

Feb 21, 2009 I stayed four nights at Casa Rayon and it was really a bargain considering the location, very central to most tourist sites, and the cleanliness.
The rooms have recently been remodeled and the bathrooms are very clean.
The rooms are very spacious and quiet.
Would definately stay again.

I liked the owners who are fluent in many languages, aware of personal differences, strive to create a pleasant personalized no servants environment which seems homey and upsale at the same time. I am in Guadalajara several times each year and would welcome another chance to stay in that neighborhood and at Casa Rayon. Best described as a casita with a sala and bedrooms and bath with kitchen -- all fresh and new. best value all around
