Description of the Gulf Shores vacation home rental
Welcome to rest and relaxation! This cottage will welcome you with open arms with its warm colors and inviting furnishing. The house has been completely refurnished including new mattresses and linens.

The complex has two pools and a tennis court. This cottage is located one unit away from the second secluded pool. It is inviting and welcomed on a hot summer day!

The Gulf of Mexico is a short walk, approximately two blocks or you can drive over. The experience is one worth having. You will want to come back again and again.

Each bedroom has a television and Dish Network. The table seats six comfortably and there is a wonderful open floor plan.

Area Information
The cottage is located on the western end of Pleasure Island. It is a 16 mile drive back to Highway 59, so the cottage is away from the hustle and the bustle of the extreme summer crowds, but close enough to get there, enjoy the sights and return to peace and serenity!

The historical Fort Morgan is only six miles away, while shopping, amusement parks, movie theaters, bowling, and additional restaurants are about 15-20 minutes away.

There are four restaurants withing five miles of the cottage and a convenient store. A small marina is located within four miles, and the fort boasts a fishing pier for great catches and crabbing.

Amazing Stay!!

We couldn't have asked for a better place! I'm not much of a beach person, but our last minute family getaway took us to the Gulf. We had a small child with us as well as my father who is in his late 60s, so it's usually so hard to please us all. We had only been in the cottage for a few hours and I was already planning our return trip! This place had everything we could have needed. It was only a short walk to the beach (and not being right on the beach kept us from tracking sand everywhere!) Each day we were on the beach, there were only 3 or 4 other people there, so we had it all to ourselves! No crowds to deal with, no loud parties. The beach was amazing! Gorgeous views, no huge condos in the skyline, just a cozy, sunny stretch of beach. I can't believe how comfortable the beds were! Just when I thought the trip couldn't get any better, I slept in the bed! So soft!! I can't wait to run away from the city again and come here. I'll recommend this rental to everyone I know! Kim made booking at the very last minute a total breeze!

The Rookery

This was the easiest rental I've experienced in a long time. The residence was accurately depicted, the owner was charming and accomodating. The cottage was clean, in total repair, close to the beach, close to the bay, fully equipped. All we had to do was unpack.

Perfect get away!

The house was nice and clean with a well stocked kitchen. The owner was very helpful and extremely friendly. Cottage is away from all the craziness of down town gulf shores, making it a perfect family get away. We were able to fish, see dolphins, all sorts of birds, and even a baby alligator. The beach is an easy short walk and is not busy at all. Would totally recommend.

Great Rookery condo

The rental unit was very clean and well decorated. The pool at the condo's was very clean and nice. It was nice to be away from the crowds of Gulf Shores but it is a little bit of a drive to get to restaurants and stores. You have to drive to the beach since it not easily walked to. There are a lot of new condos being built along the Gulf beach and parking can be difficult there because there are a lot of no parking signs posted. All in all, my family thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would not hesitate to rent the unit again in the future. We would recommend this unit and condo complex to anyone.

Great Get-a-way

My wife and 4 teenagers and I just got back from this cozy cottage. The cottage was perfect for the 6 of us with all the amenities needed for a week in the gulf. While the cottage is a short walk from the beach, it is located near a wildlife refuge, not a bunch of concrete and high rises. 2 pools and hot tub nearby, with grilling and picnic tables made it the total package.

Awesome!!!

My husband and I stayed at 3602 Rookery in Janurary and absolutely loved it!!! Beautifully decorated and very relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of life. The beach is a short 5 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this property and we will definitely return.
