This was a nice spot to spend spring break. The house was very clean and had all the amenities--king bed, coffee pot (including coffee!), new frig., hot shower, etc. There was cable but very few stations were available. The hostess was very accommodating--willing to wait for us to arrive very late and still show us around. It was easy to find, close to the extremely beautiful Gulf of Mexico coast and beaches and very private.

Our Beach Vacation

We spent a week at McCarter Lane, and it was one of the best family vacation ever. Our first family vacation since our boys were very young, and one of my sons and granddaughter first time on the beach. The host was very helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was much larger than expected. The pictures on the web doesn't show all there is to the house. It had quick access to the beach, and other things to do. I will be making plans for me and my sisters to stay here if not for a week at least a weekend. I highly recommend this place, because it feels so much like home. I loved that we had access to the pool in the host back yard at any time. Its a place you will want to stay at!! Hands down!

Our stay at the guest house was wonderful. The house was beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained. We enjoyed the restfulness of the quiet neighborhood while still being able to have quick access to the beach and other activities. Our hosts were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Wonderfully relaxing and beyond what was expected!

We spent a weeklong honeymood at the McCarter Lane Guest House and it was amazing! First, the house is much larger than I expected! Second, it was so much more cozy and peaceful! The oweners went out of their way to make sure that we had not only everything we needed for our stay, but also that we have information on anything local that we might be interested in. The home was emmaculate, well stocked, and a very quiet neighborhood. It is off a private road behind the owners home, and I never heard a peep from any of the neighbors the entire time we were there! We were so impressed with McCarter Lane that we are planning on returning this Dec and bringing our children with us! I don't see how you could not have a wonderfully relaxing time on a stay here.

Wonderful Vacation

We had a short but very relaxing vacation. The guest house was neat clean and well supplied. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The owners Tonda and Norm are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They were very friendly and welcomed our family with open arms. They took extra precautions for our small children. We plan to vacation thare again. I would definantly recomend this place to anyone on a budget that would like a top notch place to stay.

This place was wonderful to stay at. The house was very "warm" and "comforting". It had everything we could need for our stay, even down to things like laundry soap,coffee creamer, and charcoal briquets!!! The Owner was very nice and helpful. I will definately try to stay here again when I go back down to Mississippi!!! It was in a great location, and was easy to get to. Pretty centerally located. I highly recomend this place!!!
