Hale Honopou has ample privacy with a 750 acre ranch to one side and state land extending to the ocean.
Artist family owned, 3,500 square foot, custom cedar home, decorated with a blend of Polynesian and European décor. This incredible Home sleeps 6-8 comfortably. The interior displays art, sculpture and furniture created by the owners as well as work from other Island artists. Hale Honopou has a large Atrium Living Room with wicker, oak and custom art furniture, hard wood floors and beautiful fine art paintings. The Ocean View Kitchen area is a culinary dream, with steel commercial appliances, all the necessary cooking supplies, fine art décor and stunning custom glass dining table for panoramic ocean view dining.

Nestled just off of the road to Hana in Huelo (who-ello, meaning spark of light),
Hale Honopou is still only 17 miles from the Kahului airport (about a 20 min. drive).
This upscale vacation home is 1/2 mile from Twin Falls, 5 minute drive to famous big wave tow-in surfing at Jaws and just a few miles past that is world famous surfing and windsurfing at Ho 'okipa Beach.

Shopping isn 't far with a 10 minute drive to Haiku Town and 9 miles to the historic plantation town of Paia, where there is wonderful boutiques, restaurants and nightlife as well as, beautiful beaches such as Tavares Bay, Paia Bay and the white sands of Baldwin Beach Park.
Let's not forget, the short 15 min. drive to the famous ''Paniolo (cowboy) Town of Makawao for Art Galleries, shops, restaurants and the popular Rodeo every July. This Hale is in a ideal location makes the road to Hana much more comfortable at about an hour drive as apposed to the longer drive from other tourist destinations on the Island.

• Other Fees: Stays that are back to back or owner approved stays less than 5 nights, or groups with children under 12 are subject to a $175 cleaning fee.
