Description of the Haines City vacation villa rental

Excellent 3 bed 2 bath villa with south facing pool overlooking the par 3 sixth hole, with superb south facing views of the fairway.The swimming pool has a brand new water heater.

OUR HOME
This villa is air conditioned and has a lounge, dining area and kitchen, which are open planned with vaulted ceiling, resulting in a light and airy space. It has modern furniture, with a TV in the lounge and in each bedroom. Two of the bedrooms have queen sized beds and the third bedroom has two single beds.

The interior has been recently decorated and is constantly well maintained.
It has a 22 foot long south facing swimming pool, (heated if required) together with loungers, chairs and table.

LOUNGE DINING AREA AND KITCHEN
This is a large open plan sociable area, with a large ceiling fan, overlooking the swimming pool and golf course. It has two sofas, a large coffee table with TV., DVD/CD player and radio all housed in a light wooden display cabinet. There is a telephone with free local, national and international calls available, also there is free internet access for your own computer.

There is a dining table which seats six.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with cooker with oven & microwave over it, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, waste disposal unit, coffee-maker, electric kettle & toaster & all the cooking utensils you might need.

MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom with a large ceiling fan, overlooks the pool area at the rear of the villa.It has a U.S. queen size bed with bedside cabinets together with ample drawer space and a walk-in closet. Cable TV, clock-radio and en-suite bathroom with shower and hair dryer is provided.

FRONT DOUBLE BEDROOM
A Queen bed with bedside cabinets, with a TV set into a large wardrobe and ample drawer space.

TWIN BEDROOM
Twin beds with a dresser and TV set into a large wardrobe.

There is a separate bathroom with a shower.

GARAGE
Contains a large washing machine a separate dryer, iron & ironing board.

Area Information

This villa is situated within the Southern Dunes Golf Club estate which is a 24/7 security guarded gated community. There is a licensed lounge bar and restaurant which has been refurbished in 2012 in the club house together with three communal swimming pools two tennis courts, children's play area and a fishing lake within the complex.

Southern Dunes is situated on highway 27, approximately 20 minuets from Disney. Directly outside are many amenities including 24/7 Walmart, Winn Dixie, Dollar Store, Chinese take-away, McDonalds, Burger King and Manny's Steak House. Near by in old Haines City there is a Mexican restuarant.

Wonderful Vacation

We stayed at Graham and Catherine Taylor's Villa from May 25th to June 25th, 2012. Right from the beginning, we felt at home. At this time of year it is very quiet and even though it was hot the pool was right there and we enjoyed being able to swim every day. The fact that the pool area is enclosed with screening was a plus.. We were able to swim at night with no problem. The house was very clean and well equipped and we had no problems with anything during our stay. Our children and grandchildren joined us for two weeks and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The view of the golf course and surroundings was lovely. The golf course itself was groomed daily. The Villa grounds and pool were regularly maintained. Mr. and Mrs.Taylor were extremely accommodating and it was always a pleasure to speak with them. They were very helpful with their suggestions as to where to shop and places to go while we were there. For those interested - it was very easy to get to all Disney attractions from the Villa (about 25 minutes away). Although being renovated while we were there, one of the nicest places to eat (and very reasonably priced) was the Golf Course Club House which was in walking distance of the Villa. We would definitely like to return should the occassion arise. We have no hesitation in recommending this Villa to anyone (even if you don't golf) and will be recommending it to our family and friends who may be travelling to Florida in the future.
