Built for the Carver family almost a century ago these spectacular cottages have been lovingly maintained by the five generations since. The property was chosen originally for its beauty, incomparable swimming and privacy. Today our clients choose it for its beauty, incomparable swimming and privacy. Now as then, it is ideal for use by the multi-generation family, extended families and friends.

Both cottages are included and feature queen-sized master bedrooms and wood burning stoves and TV’s. The larger of the two contains the kitchen, living room, dining room as well as an extra dining or games room for the kids. It comes equipped with DVD, VCR and stereo. The kitchen is full service with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker. There is an additional beverage fridge in the boathouse. The dining room table extends to accommodate 8 in comfort.The larger cottage has 2 bedrooms with 4 additional bedrooms in the cabin sleeping a combined 10 people in comfort. There are sinks in 5 bedrooms with a 4piece bathroom in the main and a 2piece in the cabin.

Soyers Lake is part of the famous 5 lake chain of Haliburton County so there is plenty of water to explore if you wish. The cottages face southwest guaranteeing sunny exposure pretty well all day. The beach runs full width across the front of the property with a very gradual entry and a sandy bottom. Swimming at the cottage just doesn't get any better than this and it is excellent for little ones and teaching them how to swim. On one side of the cottage there is a solid rock face which provides total privacy from your next door neighbor. The property is level from the cottage to the water which is ideal for lawn games. Canoe and paddles are included but no life jackets. Please arrange to bring your own. If you have a motor boat or want to rent one at nearby Bryson's or Robert’s Marinas , it is a sand bottom beach and boats can be pulled up on shore. In addition there is a fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts and plenty of outdoor furniture for your use.

If you are looking for a shiny new cottage with all the bells and whistles, this is not it. But if you are looking for a real cottage experience with good solid, comfortable accommodation, a fabulous beach on a superb lake and property, this is the one you are looking for.

PineStone and Blairhampton golf courses are 3.2 km. from the cottage. The Wolf Centre, Walk-in-the-Clouds, Haliburton Museum, Haliburton Highland Theater, Sir Sanford Fleming School of the Arts, etc. are all within easy driving distance. The village of Haliburton which includes grocery stores (IGA and Independent), deli, beer store, liquor store, bakery and many other shops etc. is approximately 10 km. away. Kawartha Dairy which is noted for its ice cream is about 20 km. away.
