2 Bed/2 Bath sleeps 4 executive cottage located on Springfield Lake within Halifax City Limits. The Loon's Nest Cottage has a private dock. Master suite with king size bed and 4 piece ensuite overlooks the lake. 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds. 2nd 3 piece bath next to 2nd bedroom. Public transportation to downtown within 5 minute walk. Propane fireplace, pine floors throughout, vaulted ceiling with pine in living room. Canoe available. Screened in Gazebo attached to lake front deck. Fire pit area with seating for outdoor evenings close to the water.

Springfield Lake is one of the area's best boating lakes. It's great for swimming and fishing too.
3 golf courses within 20 minute drive. Lost Creek, Glen Arbour, Pin High, Coyote Hills.
Access to highways 101, 102 close by for travel to other interesting places. Historic Halifax is only 22 minutes away by car or take the metro transit link from Sackville to Downtown and avoid looking for parking downtown.
Museums close by include Fultz House in Lower Sackville and Uniake House in Mt. Uniake.
Hiking trails are closeby Bell Park and Uniake House Museum have beautiful hiking trails.
Atlantic Playland is also close by and has lots of activities for children including waterslides.
