Rent a bicycle or take a horse-drawn carriage tour around the island or take a horseback ride on the island’s many trails. Visit historic forts and Colonial Michilimackinac, a 1715 French fur trading village and military outpost.
A day tip across the Mackinac Bridge ( the third longest suspension bridge in the world) will take you to the Seney Wildlife Refuge visitor center, Tahquamenon Falls and Soo Locks Boat Tours.
